The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of online learning participation on vocal technique acquisition and stage confidence among vocal performance majors, and to identify the mediating role played by vocal technique acquisition in the relationship between these two variables. To this end, an online vocal training program was implemented for vocal majors, after which pre- and post-tests were conducted and analyzed using paired t-tests, regression analyses, and bootstrapped mediation testing. The results showed that both vocal technique acquisition and stage confidence improved significantly following online learning participation. Vocal technique acquisition also had a significant positive effect on stage confidence. Furthermore, vocal technique acquisition demonstrated a partial mediating effect on the relationship between online learning participation and stage confidence, confirming that online vocal instruction can positively influence not only technical skill development but also psychological outcomes. This study holds academic significance in that it empirically verifies the effectiveness of online vocal education and clarifies the structural linkage between technical skill acquisition and psychological performance, a connection that has been underexplored in previous research. From a practical standpoint, the findings suggest that effective online vocal instruction should integrate components that strengthen vocal technique with elements that support learners’ psychological growth. Future research should examine more diverse samples to enhance generalizability and incorporate additional variables such as qualitative aspects of the online learning environment and individual learner differences into expanded analytical models.

본 연구의 목적은 성악 전공자의 온라인 학습 참여가 발성 기술 습득성과 무대 자신감에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 발성 기술 습득성이 두 변인 간 관계에서 수행 하는 매개 역할을 규명하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 성악 전공자를 대상으로 온라인 발성 학습 프로그램을 적용한 후, 사전·사후 검사를 바탕으로 대응표본 t-검정, 회 귀분석, 부트스트래핑을 활용한 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 온라인 학습 참여 후 발성 기술 습득성과 무대 자신감 모두 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 발 성 기술 습득성은 무대 자신감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 온라인 학습이 무대 자신감에 미치는 영향에서 발성 기술 습득성이 부분 매개효과 를 보임으로써, 온라인 성악 교육이 기술적 역량뿐 아니라 정서적 측면까지 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 점이 실증적으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 온라인 성악 교육의 효과를 실증적으로 검증함으로써, 기존 연구에서 미흡했던 기술 습득–심리 성과 간 연계 구조를 규명했다는 데 학술적 의의가 있다. 실무적으로는 성악 교육에서 온라인 학습을 효과적으로 설계하기 위해 발성 기술 강화 요소와 심리적 지원 요소를 함께 고려해야 함을 시사한다. 향후 연구에서는 보다 다양한 표본을 활용한 분석을 통해 결과의 일반화를 시도하고, 온라인 환경의 질적 요소나 학습자의 개인 차와 같은 추가 변인을 포함한 확장된 모형 검증이 필요할 것이다.
