This study aims to empirically examine how the level of digital interaction in the immersive cultural space Only Henan · Drama Fantasy City influences visitors’ cultural identity formation through the mediating roles of emotional and cognitive immersion. A survey was conducted with visitors, and structural equation modeling (SEM) along with bootstrapping was employed to test the proposed mediating effects. The results indicate that digital interaction significantly enhances both emotional and cognitive immersion, and these two forms of immersion, in turn, positively contribute to cultural identity formation. Furthermore, emotional and cognitive immersion were found to partially mediate the relationship between digital interaction and cultural identity. By presenting an integrated model of the psychological and cultural impacts of digitally enhanced immersive cultural experiences, this study provides theoretical and practical implications for the fields of cultural tourism and digital heritage. Finally, the study acknowledges limitations related to the specificity of the research site and its cross-sectional design, suggesting future research directions involving comparative studies across various types of digital cultural spaces and longitudinal analyses.

디지털 기술의 급속한 발전과 VR·AR, 인터랙티브 장치 등 실감형 요소의 결합은 관람객이 단순히 관찰하는 것을 넘어 적극적으로 참여하고 체화된 경험을 형성 하도록 하는 몰입형 문화공간의 등장을 촉진하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 실감형 문화공간인 〈오직 허난·연극 환성〉을 중심으로 디지털 인터랙션 수준이 관람객의 정서적·인지적 몰입을 매개로 문화적 정체성 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 규명하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 관람객을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 구조방정식 모형(SEM)과 부트스트래핑을 활용하여 매개효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 디지털 인터랙션 수준은 정서적·인지적 몰입 모두에 유의한 정(+) 의 영향을 미쳤으며, 이러한 몰입은 다시 문화적 정체성 형성에 유의하게 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정서적·인지적 몰입은 디지털 인터랙션이 문화적 정체성 에 미치는 관계를 부분적으로 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 실감형 디지털 문화경험의 심리적·문화적 효과를 통합적으로 제시함으로써 문화관광 및 디 지털 헤리티지 분야에 이론적·실무적 시사점을 제공한다. 마지막으로 연구대상지의 특수성, 횡단적 연구 설계의 한계 등을 고려하여, 향후 다양한 유형의 디지털 문화공간 비교연구와 종단적 분석의 필요성을 제안한다.
