This descriptive study aimed to examine the effects of self-leadership and emotional labor on clinical practice stress in nursing students. The participants were 150 third- and fourth-year nursing students from a university in D Metropolitan City. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS Statistics 28.0. Clinical practice stress showed a negative correlation with self-leadership (r=-.77, p<.001) and a positive correlation with emotional labor (r=.85, p<.001). Multiple regression analysis revealed that emotional labor (β=.60, p<.001) and self-leadership (β=-.36, p<.001) were significant factors influencing clinical practice stress, with the regression model explaining 79.1% of the variance (R²=.79, F=276.89, p<.001). In other words, higher emotional labor and lower self-leadership were associated with higher clinical practice stress. Therefore, to reduce clinical practice stress in nursing students, it is necessary to develop and implement an educational program that enhances self-leadership, including emotional labor management and self-goal setting.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 셀프리더십과 감정노동이 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 D 광역시 소재 일개 대학 간호학과 3·4학년 150명으로, 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였으며 SPSS Statistics 28.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 임상실습 스트레스는 셀프리더십과 음의 상관관계(r=-.77, p<.001)를, 감정노동과는 양의 상관관계(r=.85, p<.001)를 보였다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 감정노동(β=.60, p<.001)과 셀프 리더십(β=-.36, p<.001)은 임상실습 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인이었으며, 회귀모형의 설명력은 79.1%였다(R²=.79, F=276.89, p<.001). 즉 감정노동이 높고 셀프리더십이 낮을수록 임상실습 스트레스가 높았다. 따라서 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소시키기 위해 감정노동 관리, 자기목표 설정을 포함한 셀프리더십 향상 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용이 필요하다.
