This study examines the imaginative potential of rewilding as presented in Korean climate fiction against the backdrop of ecological crises in the post-Anthropocene era. In Korean society, nature is still viewed as an object to be managed and controlled, and its unpredictability is often met with aversion or eradication. Accordingly, this research links the literary narratives of climate fiction to the concept of rewilding, which recognizes nature as an autonomous agent and seeks to minimize human intervention. Climate fiction functions not merely as disaster narrative but as a genre that envisions the restoration and coexistence of multispecies life that persists beyond the human. Undersea City Takoyaki explores the slow and intricate processes through which the boundaries between human and nonhuman beings dissolve across vast stretches of time, rendered through a series of interconnected oceanic narratives. Humming imagines a newly emerging ecosystem within a quarantined urban space after climate catastrophe, where human and nonhuman entities compete, collaborate, and coevolve. These works position climate crisis not simply as a warning but as a narrative experiment that dismantles anthropocentric frameworks and acknowledges diverse forms of life. Through this, literature becomes a site for rethinking ecological reciprocity and symbiosis, offering alternative sensibilities and imaginations for a post-Anthropocene world.

본 논문은 인류세 이후의 생태 위기를 배경으로 한국 기후소설이 제시 하는 리와일딩(Rewilding)의 상상력을 고찰한다. 한국 사회에서 자연은 여전 히 인간의 관리와 통제 대상이며, 예측 불가능한 자연은 혐오와 제거의 대상으로 간주하기 쉽다. 이에 본 연구는 자연을 자율적 주체로 인정하고 인간 개입을 최소화하는 리와일딩 개념을 문학적 서사와 연결한다. 기후 소설은 단순한 재난 서사가 아니라 인간 이후에도 지속되는 다종적 생명 의 회복과 공존을 상상하는 장르로 기능한다. 『해저도시 타코야키』는 바 다를 무대로 한 연작 서사를 통해 아득한 시간 속에서 인간과 비인간 존 재의 경계가 무화되는 느리고 복잡한 과정을 탐구한다. 『허밍』은 기후재 난 이후 격리된 도시 공간을 통해 인간과 비인간 존재가 경합하며 협력하는 새로운 생태계를 모색한다. 두 작품은 기후 위기를 단순한 경고가 아닌, 인간 중심적 인식틀을 해체하고 다양한 존재들의 목소리를 인정하는 서사적 실험으로 제시한다. 이를 통해 문학은 생태적 상호성과 공생을 사유하는 장을 마련하며, 인류세 이후 세계를 위한 대안적 감각과 상상력을 제안한다.
