We analyzed the nomination archive of physicist Anderson, who won the 1936 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the positron, and his student Neddermeyer, who were recommended for the Nobel Prize in Physics between 1941 and 1953 for the discovery of the muon, another achievement. Anderson and Neddermeyer were nominated 18 and 20 times, respectively, during this period. Anderson's advisor nominated them 10 times as joint winners, and Anderson recommended Neddermayer as the sole winner 5 times. A physicist who shared the Nobel Prize in the same year as Anderson nominated 5 times as a joint winner, with Anderson as first priority. Although it was an excellent achievement worthy of receiving another Nobel Prize, the reason why it did not succeed was because there was a lot of other outstanding research at the time that deserved the Nobel Prize, so it can be said that the scientific community felt burdened by awarding a second Nobel Prize in the same field for the first time. I think it would be of great help in examining the convergent characteristics of Nobel Prize winners if we expanded our research to include scientists in other fields who were nominated for other works even after winning the Nobel Prize.
