This study aims to analyze the impact of perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) technology on life satisfaction. While previous studies have focused on AI technology adoption, this research examines how positive and negative perceptions of AI influence overall quality of life. The study utilized data from the 2023 “Digital Information Divide Survey” and conducted regression analysis on a sample of the general population. The results indicate that a higher positive perception of AI technology correlates with increased life satisfaction. In contrast, negative perceptions did not significantly affect current life satisfaction, suggesting that expectations of AI’s benefits may contribute to an improved quality of life. Policy implications include: (1) strengthening education and public awareness to enhance digital literacy, (2) establishing ethical and legal frameworks to improve trust in AI, and (3) addressing the digital divide to ensure equitable access to AI benefits. This study provides empirical insights into the relationship between AI perceptions and life satisfaction, highlighting the need for further longitudinal and in-depth research.

본 연구는 인공지능(AI) 기술에 대한 인식이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 기존 연구들이 기술 수용도에 초점을 맞춘 반면, 본 연 구는 AI 기술의 긍정적·부정적 인식이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검 토하였다. 연구에서는 2023년 ‘디지털정보격차 실태조사’ 데이터를 활용하였으며, 일반 국민을 대상으로 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, AI 기술에 대한 긍정적 인식 이 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 부정적 인식은 현재 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 AI 기술의 긍정적 기대가 삶의 질 향상과 연결될 수 있음을 시사한다. 정책적 함의로는 첫째, AI 기술에 대한 교육과 홍보를 강화하여 디지털 리터러 시를 높일 필요가 있다. 둘째, AI 기술의 신뢰성을 높이기 위한 윤리적·법적 장 치가 마련되어야 한다. 셋째, 디지털 격차를 해소하여 기술 혜택을 고르게 분배하 는 정책이 필요하다. 본 연구는 AI 기술 인식과 삶의 만족도의 관계를 실증적으로 분석하였으며, 향 후 장기적 연구와 심층적 요인 분석이 필요함을 제안한다.
