This study compared and analyzed the differences and characteristics of teachers and local officials working in a dual structure at the same educational site, and provided basic data on policy support measures for retirement and retirement preparation so that they can maintain the quality of life and improve social adaptability for old age life after retirement as life expectancy increases. The main research results are summarized as follows. First, looking at the results of the correlation analysis between demographic characteristics, sub-variables for retirement preparation, and attitude factors for retirement, both teachers and local officials showed positive ( ) correlation results in all areas ＋ except for one item. Second, as a result of multilinear regression analysis between the factors of satisfaction and retirement preparation, emotional retirement preparation and leisure retirement preparation had a significant effect, and among them, leisure retirement preparation had a very positive (＋) effect. Third, as a result of the analysis of the decision tree to identify the variables that first affect the sub-variables of retirement preparation in demographic characteristics, the most important variable in all four retirement preparation areas was health status.

본 연구는 기대수명 증가에 따라 퇴직후 길어진 노년기 생활에 대해 삶의 질을 유지하고 사회적 적응력을 향상시켜 나갈 수 있도록, 동일한 교육현장의 이원화 구조에서 근무하고 있는 충청북도교육청 소속 교원과 지방공무원들의 차이와 특 징을 비교 분석하고, 퇴직 및 노후 준비를 위한 정책적 지원 방안 마련에 대한 기 초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 주요 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구 사회학적 특성과 노후 준비 하위변인, 퇴직에 대한 태도 요인들간의 상관관계분석 결과를 살펴보면, 교원과 지방공무원 두 집단 모두 각 1개의 항목을 제외한 전체 영역에서 정(＋)적 상관관계 결과가 나타났다. 둘째, 만족도와 노후 준비 하위변 인 요인들간의 다중선형 회귀분석 결과, 정서적 노후 준비와 여가적 노후 준비가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 중에도 여가적 노후 준비가 매우 크게 정(＋)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 인구사회학적 특성에서 노 후 준비 하위변인에 우선 영향을 미치는 변수를 확인하기 위해 의사결정나무 분석 결과, 전체 4개 노후 준비 영역 공통적으로 가장 중요한 변인이 건강상태로 나타 났다.
