This study was conducted to identify factors influencing nurses’ blood-borne infection prevention behaviors based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). An online survey was conducted in July 2024 among 139 nurses working at a university hospital in D city. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS Macro (Model 4) with 10,000 bootstrap resamples. Blood-borne infection prevention behaviors showed significant differences according to age, education experience, and needlestick injury experience. Attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and behavioral intention were all positively correlated with prevention behaviors. Behavioral intention showed a full mediating effect in the relationships between subjective norm and perceived behavioral control with prevention behaviors, whereas no mediating effect was found between attitude and prevention behaviors. These findings suggest the need for multifaceted strategies to enhance nurses’ awareness of social norms and perceived behavioral control in order to improve infection prevention behaviors.

본 연구는 계획된 행위이론(Theory of Planned Behavior, TPB)에 근거하여 간호사의 혈액매개감염 예방행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 수행된 단면적 서술적 연구이다. D광역시 소재 대학병원 간호사 139명을 대상으로 2024년 7월 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자료는 SPSS 25.0과 PROCESS Macro(Model 4, 부트스트랩 10,000회) 를 이용해 분석하였다. 혈액매개감염 예방행위는 연령, 교육 경험, 찔림 사고 경험에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였고, 태도·주 관적 규범·지각된 행위통제·행위의도는 모두 예방행위와 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 행위의도는 주관적 규범과 지각된 행위통 제의 영향 관계에서 완전매개 효과를 보였으나, 태도와 예방행위 간에서는 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 간호사의 감염예방행위를 향상시키기 위해 사회적 규범 인식과 지각된 행위통제를 강화하는 다면적 접근의 필요성을 시사 한다.
