The purpose of this study was to identify the structural relationships among social support, disability acceptance, and life satisfaction through participation in recreational sports among individuals with hearing impairments. To achieve this objective, data were collected through surveys from 306 individuals with hearing impairments who participated in recreational sports nationwide. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 24.0. The findings are as follows. First, social support positively effected on disability acceptance among individuals with hearing impairments who participated in recreational sports. Second, social support positively influenced life satisfaction among the same group. Third, disability acceptance was found to effect life satisfaction positively. Lastly, social support indirectly affected life satisfaction through the mediation of disability acceptance.

본 연구의 목적은 청각장애인이 생활체육에 참여함으로써 사회적지지와 장애수용, 그리고 생활만족 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 G 지역에서 생활체육에 참여하고 있는 청각장애인 306명을 대상으로 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 통계 프로그램인 SPSS 25.0와 AMOS 24.0을 사용하 여 결과를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생활체육에 참여했던 청각장애인의 사회적지지가 장애수용에 긍정 적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 생활체육에 참여했던 청각장애인의 사회적지지가 생활만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 장애수용은 생활만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 사회적지지는 장애수용을 매개로 생활만족에 간접적으로 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다.
