This study was conducted with the purpose of verifying the mediating effect of university life satisfaction on the relationship between growth orientation and participation motivation of university students participating in marine leisure sports. To this end, a survey was conducted by selecting college students who participate in marine leisure sports as a target group. Through this process, the following conclusions were obtained. First, it was found that the growth orientation of college students participating in marine leisure sports was closely related to intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Second, it was found that the growth orientation of college students participating in marine leisure sports was closely related to peer relationships, rule compliance, and learning activities. Third, satisfaction with university life was verified to have a mediating effect in the relationship between the growth orientation and participation motivation of university students participating in marine leisure sports. Fourth, the mediating effect of participation motivation was verified in the relationship between the growth orientation of college students participating in marine leisure sports and their satisfaction with college life.

이 연구는 해양레저스포츠 참여 대학생의 성장지향성과 참여동기의 관계에서 대학생활만족의 매개효과를 검증 하는데 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 이를 위해 해양레저스포츠에 참여하는 대학생들을 모집단으로 선정하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이와 같은 과정을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 해양레저스포츠 참여 대학생의 성장지향성은 내적 동기 및 외적동기와 밀접한 관련성이 있음이 규명되었다. 둘째, 해양레저스포츠 참여 대학생의 성장지향성은 교우관계, 규칙준수, 학습활동과 밀접한 관련성이 있음이 규명되었다. 셋째, 해양레저스포츠 참여 대학생의 성장지향성과 참여동 기의 관계에서 대학생활만족은 매개효과가 검증되었다. 넷째, 해양레저스포츠 참여 대학생의 성장지향성과 대학생활만 족의 관계에서 참여동기는 매개효과가 검증되었다.
