This study examined research trends in the field of Quality of Life by analyzing author-provided keywords from articles published in Quality of Life Research in Springer Nature. To achieve this, keyword data extracted from Quality of Life Research in Springer Nature were cleaned, followed by frequency and centrality analyses, and the construction of a keyword network map. The results revealed that quality of life and health-related quality of life were the most frequent and central concepts in the network. In addition, clinically oriented terms such as patient-reported outcomes, depression, and EQ-5D occupied prominent positions in the network. Cluster analysis based on keyword interconnections identified four major research domains: clinical Quality of Life, mental health, scale development and validation, and Quality of Life research focused on specific population groups. These findings demonstrate that Quality of Life scholarship remains heavily concentrated within medical and health-related contexts. In contrast, keywords related to digital health, Quality of Life in education, and community environmental factors appeared far less frequently, indicating potential avenues for future expansion. By visualizing keywords of Quality of Life research, this study provides essential groundwork for guiding future research directions.

이 연구는 Quality of Life Research in Springer Nature에 게재된 논문들에서 저자가 제공한 키워드를 분석하여 삶의 질 분야의 연구 동향을 살펴보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구를 위해 Quality of Life Research in Springer Nature에서 추출한 키워드 데이터를 정제한 후, 빈도 및 연결 중심성 분석을 수행하고 키워드 네트워 크 지도를 구축하였다. 그 결과, 키워드 네트워크에서 삶의 질과 건강 관련 삶의 질이 가장 빈도가 높고 중심 적인 개념으로 나타났다. 또한, 환자 보고 결과, 우울증, EQ-5D와 같은 임상 관련 용어가 네트워크에서 중요한 위치를 차지했다. 이후 키워드 상호 연결에 기반한 군집 분석을 통해 임상적 삶의 질, 정신 건강, 측정 도구 개 발 및 검증, 그리고 특정 인구 집단에 초점을 맞춘 삶의 질 연구의 네 가지 주요 연구 영역을 확인했다. 이러 한 결과는 삶의 질 연구가 여전히 의료 및 건강 관련 맥락에 집중되어 있음을 보여준다. 반면, 디지털 건강, 교 육적 삶의 질, 지역 사회 환경 요인과 관련된 키워드는 빈도가 훨씬 낮아 향후 확장 가능성이 높음을 시사하였 다. 이 연구는 삶의 질 연구에 대한 키워드를 시각화함으로써 후속 연구의 방향을 안내하는데 중요한 토대를 제공할 수 있다.
