This study compared the effects of infection-control education in clinical practicums versus campus-based alternative practicums on nursing competence, patient safety confidence, standard precautions awareness, and major satisfaction. Using a non-equivalent control, quasi-experimental pre–post design, three cohorts were surveyed: Experimental I (clinical, n=19), Experimental II (campus-based, n=16), and Control (campus-based without infection-control education, n=19). Within-group changes were tested. Experimental I showed significant gains in competence, safety confidence, and standard precautions; major satisfaction showed no clear change. Clinical, experiential learning appears advantageous. Future studies should optimize campus-based practicums (high-fidelity simulation, structured debriefing, repeated practice) and employ multi-site, objective evaluations.

본 연구는 임상실습과 교내대체실습 환경에서 감염관리 교육이 간호대학생의 간호역량, 환자안전 자신감, 표준주의 인식, 전공만족도에 미치는 효과를 비교하고자 하였다. 비동등성 대조군 유사실험설계로, 실험군Ⅰ(임상실습 환경에서 감염 관리 교육) 19명, 실험군Ⅱ(교내대체실습에서 감염관리 교육) 16명, 대조군(교내대체실습) 19명을 대상으로 사전·사후 조사를 수행하고 집단 내 차이를 분석하였다. 연구결과 임상실습 환경에서 감염관리 교육을 제공받은 실험군Ⅰ은 간호역량, 환자안 전 자신감, 표준주의 인식이 유의하게 향상되었고, 교내대체실습 환경에서 교육을 받은 실험군Ⅱ 또한 일부 영역에서 긍정적 변화를 보였다. 본 연구는 감염관리 교육의 교육 환경별 효과를 제시하여 임상실습의 중요성을 강조하였으며, 향후 교내대체 실습 고도화를 위한 다양한 교육방법을 적용한 연구, 다기관, 다학년 반복 연구와 객관적 평가 지표를 포함한 후속 연구를 제언한다.
