The purpose of this paper is to explore the potential of developing chaste woman characters using AI and DB from the Institute of Korean Classics Translation. The value of classics lies in their modern interpretation. Recently, diverse content based on classics has been made available to the public. The chaste woman, highlighted in this study, possesses a distinct character and can be applied in a variety of fields. The chaste woman's shared and subverted sense of the times and universal values she embodies enhances this potential. AI leveraged systems provided by Naver and Google, enabling us to understand their value and limitations. When AI was presented with specific, continuous performance requirements, it was more likely to produce meaningful results. The Institute of Korean Classics' DB contains content in areas that AI cannot handle, requiring manual exploration. Since AI is not yet at the stage of relying on comprehensive data available on the network, it would be beneficial to utilize DB assets and AI systems in tandem.

이 논문의 목적은 AI를 활용하고 한국고전번역원의 DB를 활용하여 열녀 캐릭터 개발에 대한 가능성을 모색하는 데 있다. 고전의 가치는 현 대적 해석에 있다. 최근에 고전을 근원으로 하여 다양한 콘텐츠가 대중에 게 제공되고 있다. 본 연구가 주목한 열녀는 캐릭터성이 매우 뚜렷하여 다양한 분야에 활용될 수 있다. 열녀가 지니고 있는 시대성과 보편적 가 치의 공유와 전복이 그 가능성을 높인다. AI는 네이버와 구글에서 제공하 는 시스템을 활용했으며 그 가치와 한계를 파악할 수 있었다. AI에 연속 적으로 구체적인 수행 요구를 제시했을 때 의미 있는 결괏값이 도출될 가능성이 높았다. 한국고전번역원의 DB는 AI가 수행하지 못하는 영역에 서 콘텐츠를 보유하고 있기에 직접 찾아서 살펴야 한다. AI가 네트워크상 에 존재하는 망라의 자료를 기반으로 하는 단계는 아니기에 DB 자산과 AI 시스템의 적절한 활용이 병행되면 좋을 것이다.
