This study reinterprets park golf not merely as a sport for older adults but as an integrated phenomenon encompassing leisure, culture, and education. Using text mining and semantic network analysis, the research examined news, social media, and local government data published between 2022 and 2025 to identify the physical, emotional, and social effects of park golf perceived by seniors. The findings reveal that park golf functions beyond physical exercise as (1) a space for cultural community participation, (2) an arena for intergenerational coexistence and learning of empathy, and (3) a field for lifelong self-development. These results correspond with prior studies indicating that park golf positively contributes to physical health, emotional stability, and social relationship recovery, thereby supporting its role as a platform for cultural engagement and lifelong learning. Accordingly, this study proposes that park golf be utilized as an educational platform for senior leisure culture, promoting community-based cultural welfare and generationally integrated lifelong learning programs.

본 연구는 파크골프를 단순한 노인 스포츠로 보는 시각에서 벗어나, 여가·문화·교육 의 관점에서 재해석하였다. 20222025년 동안 공개된 뉴스·SNS·지자체 자료를 대상으 로 시니어가 인식하는 파크골프의 신체·정서·사회적 효과를 텍스트마이닝과 의미연결 망 분석을 통해 도출하였다. 그 결과, 파크골프는 단순한 운동효과를 넘어, 첫째, 문화 적 커뮤니티 참여, 둘째, 세대 간 공존과 배려 학습, 셋째, 평생교육적 자아 성장의 장으 로 기능하고 있었다. 이는 파크골프가 신체적 건강 증진뿐 아니라 정서적 안정과 사회 적 관계 회복에 긍정적인 효과를 나타낸다는 관련 선행 연구들의 결과와 맥락을 같이 하며, 파크골프가 문화적 참여와 평생학습의 장(場)으로 기능함을 뒷받침하였다. 이에 본 연구는 파크골프를 시니어 여가문화의 교육적 플랫폼으로 활용하여, 지역 기반의 문화복지 및 세대 통합형 평생학습 프로그램 활성화를 제언하였다.
