The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO) classifies sports entrepreneurship into Startup, Leap, Growth, and Maturity stages, yet many startups fail to progress to the Growth Stage because assessment criteria emphasize business longevity and revenue. To identify determinants of successful advancement, this study applied the ERIS model to develop an initial item pool and conducted a Delphi survey and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with 15 experts. A total of 25 consensus-based factors were identified across four dimensions: Entrepreneur (11), Resource (4), Industry (1), and Strategy (9). Their relative importance was ranked as follows: Entrepreneur (51.42%), Strategy (21.52%), Resource (16.37%), and Industry (10.69%). The findings highlight the predominance of entrepreneurial competencies and strategic capability as empirical drivers of growth, providing a theoretical foundation for developing targeted support policies that address early-stage vulnerabilities and facilitate progression into the Growth Stage.

국민체육진흥공단은 스포츠 창업 단계를 창업기, 도약기, 성장기, 성숙기 순으로 구분하고 창업 단계에 적합한 지원사업을 운영하고 있지만, 대다수의 스포츠산업 스타트업은 업력과 매출액 중심으로 평가하는 성 장기 진입에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 스포츠산업 스타트업 의 성장기 진입을 위한 핵심 요인을 탐색하기 위하여 ERIS 모델을 기반 으로 예비항목을 구성하고, 15명의 전문가 패널을 대상으로 델파이 조사 와 계층적 의사결정 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 창업가 관련 요인 11 개, 자원 관련 요인 4개, 산업 관련 요인 1개, 전략 관련 요인 9개로 총 25개의 요인이 도출되었으며, 요인별 중요도는 창업가(51.42%), 전략 (21.52%), 자원(16.37%), 산업(10.69%) 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 스포츠 산업 스타트업의 성장기 진입을 위한 핵심 성공요인으로 창업가의 자질 과 전략의 중요성을 전문가 의견 분석을 통해 실증적으로 규명함으로써, 기업의 성장기 진입과 영세성 극복을 위한 맞춤형 지원 정책 수립의 이 론적 근거를 제시한다는 점에서 큰 의의가 있다.
