This study examines the relationship between equipment used during treatment, physical discomfort, and job satisfaction among clinical dental hygienists. A survey assessed general and work-related characteristics, job satisfaction, and physical discomfort using a 5-point scale, based on the 2022 National Health and Nutrition Survey. Results showed that using a temporary tooth dust collector caused high physical discomfort, which negatively impacted job satisfaction. To address this, education at universities and ongoing training are essential to bridge the gap between practical fieldwork and legal work requirements, enabling hygienists to perform temporary dental tasks more effectively.

본 연구는 임상 치과위생사들의 치료 장비 사용, 신체적 불편감 및 직무 만족도 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 설문조사는 2022년 국민건강영양조사를 바탕으로 5점 척도를 사용하여 일반 특성, 직무 만족도, 신체적 불편감을 평가하였다. 연구 결과, 임시 치아의 진공 흡입기 사용 시 높은 신체적 불편감이 직무 만족도를 감소시키는 주요 원인으로 나타났다. 이를 해결하기 위해 대학 교육과 현장 보수 교육을 통해 실무와 법적 업무 요건 간의 격차를 줄이고, 치과위생사들이 임시 치과 업무를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 노력이 치과위생사의 신체적 부담을 완화하고 직무 만족도를 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.
