In modern society, collaboration is a core competency for problem-solving, and cloud-based learning tools are attracting attention as a means of enabling real-time collaboration without constraints of time and space. This study analyzed the functional characteristics of students’ utterances during a collaborative math problem-solving class using cloud-based learning tools for sixth graders. For this study, students were presented with a collaborative math problem-solving task, based on an activity involving dividing a given amount of money appropriately. The task involved collecting and analyzing audio recordings, individual tablet screen recordings, group data collection boards in Padlet, individual research reports in Google Docs, whiteboard records in Canva, and group allocation reports reports. The analysis revealed that the cloud-based learning tools, based on its real-time sharing functionality, effectively promoted evidence-based, logical communication, metacognitive assessment, and reflection, as well as peer support and role coordination. Furthermore, differences in speech characteristics were observed depending on the lesson stage and tool functionality. Recommendations include expanding teachers' use of the real-time sharing feature of cloud-based learning tools, alleviating students' psychological burden of using the tools, and clarifying the differential effects of these tools in future research.

현대 사회에서 협력은 문제해결을 위한 핵심 역량이며, 클라우드 기반 학습도구는 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 실시간 협업을 가능하게 하는 수단으로 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 초등학교 6학년을 대상으로 클라우드 기반 학습도구를 활용한 협력적 수학 문제해결 수업을 실시하고, 그 과정에서 나타난 학생 발화의 기능적 특징을 분석하였다. 이 연구를 위해 실생활 맥락과 연계하여 ‘주어진 금액을 적절히 나누 기’라는 협력적 수학 문제해결 과제를 제시하고, 음성 녹음 자료와 개인 태블릿 화면 활동 녹화 자료, 패들렛의 모둠 자료 수집 게시판, 구글 문서의 개인 조사 보 고서, 캔바의 화이트보드 기록 및 모둠별 정산 보고서를 수집·분석하였다. 연구 결과, 클라우드 기반 학습도구는 실시간 공유 기능을 기반으로 근거 중심의 논리적 의사소통과 메타인지적 평가 및 반성을 효과적으로 촉진하였고, 동료 간 상호 지원 과 역할 조정 활동을 효과적으로 촉진하였다. 또한 수업 단계 및 도구의 기능에 따 라 발화 특징에 차이가 나타났다. 제언으로, 교사의 실시간 공유 기능 활용 확대, 학생의 도구 사용에 대한 심리적 부담 완화, 후속 연구에서 클라우드 기반 학습도 구의 차별적 효과를 명확히 규명할 필요성을 제시하였다.
