This study explores the theological significance and practical measures of revival for modern church restoration, focusing on David Martyn Lloyd-Jones' "Revival." Lloyd-Jones, a representative Reformed theologian and preacher of 20th-century Britain, provided profound insights into biblical revival. This paper diagnoses the problems of secularization and spiritual stagnation facing today's churches through his revival theology and seeks ways for genuine church restoration. The research confirms that the revival presented by Lloyd-Jones is not mere religious enthusiasm but the essential restoration of the church through God's sovereign work, realized through Word-centered preaching, genuine repentance, and the work of the Holy Spirit. In particular, it reveals that modern churches must pursue spiritual renewal based on biblical truth beyond formal religiosity, and for this purpose, the restoration of preaching and the practice of personal piety emphasized by Lloyd-Jones are essential.
