This integrative review synthesized Korean literature on discharge education for stroke patients to analyze study characteristics and effects and to provide foundational data for program development. Following Whittemore and Knafl’s five-stage method, we searched RISS, KISS, and DBpia using “stroke,” “discharge education,” and “discharge nursing,” and analyzed 10 studies from 183 records. Eight studies had evidence level Ⅱ (80%) and two level Ⅲ (20%); designs were eight quasi-experiments and two single-group experiments. Interventions were grouped into six types(post-discharge follow-up, secondary prevention, sexual rehabilitation, early rehabilitation, nutrition, and couple-based education) and significantly improved self-efficacy, health behavior, and quality of life. Findings indicate that discharge education for stroke patients should move beyond one-way information to an integrated nursing intervention that includes rehabilitation, prevention, and family participation, offering a foundation for integrated program development.

본 통합적 문헌고찰은 국내 뇌졸중 환자 퇴원 교육 관련 연구의 특성과 효과를 분석하여 중재 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. Whittemore와 Knafl의 5단계 방법(문제규명, 문헌검색 및 선정, 문헌평가, 문헌분석, 결과제시) 을 적용하였다. RISS, KISS, DBpia에서 “뇌졸중”, “퇴원 교육”, “퇴원 간호”로 검색하여 183편 중 10편을 분석하였다. 선정 문헌의 근거수준은 Ⅱ 수준 8편(80%), Ⅲ 수준 2편(20%)이었으며, 유사실험연구 8편, 단일군 실험연구 2편이었다. 퇴원 교육 은 퇴원 후 추후관리, 이차예방, 성 재활, 조기재활, 영양, 부부 집단교육 6유형으로 분류되었고, 자기효능감, 건강행위 이행, 삶의 질에서 유의한 효과를 보였다. 본 고찰은 뇌졸중 환자의 퇴원 교육이 단편적 정보 제공을 넘어 재활, 예방, 가족 참여를 통합한 간호중재로 발전해야 함을 보여주며, 향후 통합형 프로그램 개발에 근거를 제공한다.
