Theologically, the Kingdom of God is often described in terms of God’s governance. However, the Bible presents the Kingdom through multiple dimensions (1 Cor. 4:20; Luke 17:20–21; Rom. 14:17; John 3:3; Matt. 11:12), which implies that God’s governance must also be theologically understood in diverse dimensions. This study aims to provide an integrative theological understanding of the Pentecostal movement through the Filioque clause, interpreting it as the governance of the Kingdom of God, manifested in the New Covenant ministry of the Holy Spirit under the lordship of Christ. This purpose arises from the pastoral and educational need to understand the progressive revelatory redemptive work of the Triune God inherent in the Pentecostal movement, particularly within the context of the 21st century. While the Pentecostal movement, which emphasizes the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, is important themes in the spirituality of World Christianity, there is a lack of integrated theological and biblical studies that engage these themes within contemporary context. In light of the rise of atheistic transhumanist paradigms in the era of generative AI and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it becomes urgent to reexamine why Pentecostal movement must emphasize Spirit baptism and speaking in tongues, as a path toward restoring the image of God as a manifestation of God's governance. This paper argues that, from the perspective of the Kingdom of God, the relationship between the Pentecostal movement and the restoration of the imago Dei can be theologically reinterpreted through the Filioque clause. A review of biblical sources and theological discourse shows that the Filioque doctrine carries practical theological significance as it supports the idea that the present governance of Christ and the Kingdom of God are realized through the New Covenant ministry of the Holy Spirit as embodied in the Pentecostal movement. In response to the challenges posed by atheistic visions of the human in the age of generative AI, this paper proposes a theological anthropology rooted in the restored image of God— empowered by the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, especially Spirit baptism and speaking in tongues—as an alternative vision. Even as the world progresses toward the return of Christ with rapid technological development, the human restored in the image of God may still faithfully fulfill the divine mandate to rule and subdue the earth as a participant in Christ’s governance. In conclusion, this study contends that the Pentecostal movement is not merely a sectarian expression but offers a canonical theological interpretation of the present governance of God, in which the restoration of the imago Dei and the redemptive governance of Christ are integrated through the New Covenant ministry of the Holy Spirit.

하나님 나라는 신학적으로 설명할 때 하나님의 통치로 설명된다. 그런데 성경에서 하 나님 나라는 다양한 차원에서 설명되어진다(고전 4:20; 눅 17:20-21; 롬 14:17; 요 3:3; 마 11:12). 그렇다면 하나님의 통치는 다양한 차원에서 설명되어져야 한다고 추론할 수 있다. 본 논문은 하나님 나라의 통치로서 필리오케(filioque)를 통해 오순절 성령운 동을 그리스도의 통치로서 성령의 새 언약 사역으로 통합적으로 이해하려는 데 목적 이 있다. 이러한 목적은 목회적 차원에서나 교회학교적 차원에서나 21세기 맥락에서 오순절 성령운동에 내재된 삼위일체 하나님의 점진적 계시적 구속사를 이해하려는 필 요성에 기인한다. 성령세례와 방언을 강조하는 오순절 성령운동은 세계 기독교의 신앙생활에서 중요한 주제이지만, 이 주제를 신학적, 성경적, 그리고 현대적 맥락에서 통합적으로 논의하는 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 그러나, AI가 만들어내는 무신론적 첨 단과학기술 시대에 하나님 나라의 통치로서 하나님의 형상 회복을 위해 ‘왜 오순절 성령운동이 성령세례와 방언을 강조해야 하는지’를 새롭게 조명해야 할 당위성이 절 실해졌기 때문이다 본 논문은 하나님 나라의 관점에서 오순절 성령운동과 하나님의 형상 회복과의 상관성을 필리오케를 통해 논의하면서 이들이 어떻게 그리스도의 통치 와 성령의 새 언약 사역으로 통합될 수 있는지를 신학적으로 재해석하였다. 이러한 맥락에서 성경적 자료와 신학적 담론에 대한 문헌 분석을 통해 필리오케 교리가 현재 적 하나님 나라와 그리스도의 통치를 성령의 새 언약 사역으로서 오순절 성령운동을 통해 증명될 수 있는 실천신학적 의미를 가진다고 논증하였다. 본 논문은 생성형 AI 로 대표되는 제4차 산업혁명 시대에 무신론적 새로운 인간상의 도전에 대한 신학적 인간상의 대안을 성령의 열매와 함께 성령세례와 방언 등 성령의 은사를 강조하는 오순절 성령운동으로 무장한 하나님의 형상에서 다시 찾을 수 있다고 주장한다. 예수 그리스도의 재림까지 이 세상의 과학기술문명이 첨예하게 발전하더라도 하나님 형상 의 인간은 그리스도의 통치를 위한 참여자로서 세상을 다스리고 정복하라는 하나님의 위대한 명령을 수행할 수 있음을 논증한다. 결론적으로 본 논문은 오순절 성령운동이 단순히 오순절주의자만의 주장이 아니라 하나님 나라의 현재적 통치로서 하나님의 형 상 회복을 통해 예수 그리스도의 통치가 구속사적틀 안에서 성령의 새 언약 사역으 로 통합적인 정경적 관점에서 해석될 수 있음을 주장한다.
