This study explores the introduction of knowledge management (KM) and the development of an AI-based church education platform to address educational vulnerabilities in small churches and enhance the overall quality of education in the Korean church. The study examines the potential of implementing life-cycle-based faith education-from prenatal stages to late adulthood-through a digital platform. KM provides a theoretical foundation for curriculum design and content development by systematizing explicit, tacit, communal, and revelatory knowledge within church education, thereby promoting knowledge creation, sharing, and utilization. The AI-based platform is designed around life-cycle ministry with the Bible at its core and operates through two main tracks. The Faith Education Track guides spiritual growth from new believers to church leaders, offering stage-specific personalized learning. The Life-Cycle Module Track links life-stage tasks-including learning, academic preparation, career, dating, marriage, work, late adulthood, and end-of-life education-to spiritual application, integrating child-parent-grandparent education to strengthen intergenerational faith transmission. The platform also provides personalized content and practical tasks based on learners’ age, faith assessment results, and interests, while facilitating church-family-school collaboration as a mechanism for public faith practice. This AI-based church education platform offers a strategic response to the limited human and financial resources of small churches and the digital transformation in the AI era. By integrating KM principles with life-cycle education and AI technology, the platform enables systematic curriculum management, supports continuous and intergenerational faith formation, and provides learners with structured, practical pathways for spiritual growth. This approach represents a novel direction for educational ministry innovation and demonstrates potential for sustainable, inclusive, and integrated church education.

본 연구는 작은 교회의 교육적 취약성을 극복하고, 한국 교회 전반의 교육 수준 향상을 위해 지식경영 도입과 AI 기반 교회교육 플랫폼 구 축 방안을 탐색하였다. 연구에서는 생애주기 교육목회를 중심으로 태 내기부터 초고령기에 이르는 성도의 발달 단계별 신앙교육과 삶의 과 제를 디지털 플랫폼을 통해 구현할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. 지식 경영은 교회교육에서 명시적, 암묵적, 공동체적, 계시적 지식의 범주를 체계화하고, 지식의 생성, 공유, 활용을 촉진함으로써 커리큘럼 개발과 콘텐츠 구성의 이론적 토대를 제공하였다. AI 기반 교회교육 플랫폼은 성경을 중심으로 하는 생애주기 교육목회를 기반으로 설계되며, 다음 두 가지 핵심 트랙으로 운영된다. 첫째, 신앙 교육 트랙은 초신자에서 지도자로 이어지는 신앙 성숙 경로를 제시하며 단계별 맞춤형 학습을 지원한다. 둘째, 생애주기 모듈 트랙은 학습, 입시, 진로, 연애, 결혼, 직장, 황혼기, 죽음 교육 등 삶의 과제를 신앙적 적용과 연계하며, 자 녀-부모-격대부모 교육을 통합하여 세대 간 신앙 전승을 강화하는 세 대 통합적 신앙교육을 촉진한다. 또한 플랫폼은 학습자의 연령, 신앙 수준, 관심사에 따른 맞춤형 콘텐츠와 실천 과제를 제공하고, 교회-가정-학교 간 연계를 통해 공적 신앙 실천을 위한 구조적 장치로 기능한 다. 이러한 본 연구의 AI 기반 교회교육 플랫폼 구축 방안은 재정적, 인적 자원이 제한된 작은 교회의 현실과 AI 시대의 디지털 전환이라는 사회적 변화를 배경으로, 모든 성도가 신앙교육에서 소외되지 않도록 교육목회 혁신의 새로운 방향을 모색했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
