This study selected YouTube videos of genre-specific dance works from Mnet’s “Stage Fighter,” presented in both dance-film and gala-show formats, to compare their characteristics and explore prospects for dance performance art. Using a scenographic analysis methodology, five researchers independently and repeatedly viewed the materials and cross-checked results through peer debriefing. Findings indicate that fusing dance film and gala show proposes a new creative paradigm spanning screen- and stage-based arts: the former emphasizes immersion and accessibility, the latter foregrounds liveness and energy. Three salient features emerge—transcendence of time-space, layered audience experience, and dramatic effectiveness shaped by cinematography and stagecraft—suggesting the need, in the AI-driven digital era, for diverse platforms that integrate film’s visuality and spatiotemporality with the experiential liveness of the stage.

본 연구는 Mnet에서 방영된 「스테이지 파이터」장르별 무용 작품이 댄스필름과 갈라쇼 형식으로 방영된 유튜 브 영상을 선정하여 특징을 비교·분석하고 무용공연예술의 발전 가능성을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구 방 법으로는 시노그라피 분석 방법론을 적용하였으며, 총 5인의 연구자가 독립적으로 반복 시청 후 동료 검증 절 차를 통해 분석 결과를 교차 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 댄스필름과 갈라쇼의 융합은 영상예술과 공연예술을 아우르는 새로운 창작 패러다임을 제시하였다. 둘째, 댄스필름에서는 몰입과 접근성, 갈라쇼에서는 현장성과 에너지를 제공하는 소통의 장으로 기능하였다. 셋째, 무대에서 영상으로 시공간의 범위가 확장되는 '시공간의 초월성', 구성형과 개방형 체험의 '관객 체험성', 촬영 기법과 무대 효과에 따른 '극적 효과성'의 특징이 나타났 다. 이를 통해 무용공연예술이 지속적으로 발전하기 위해서는 AI와 디지털시대에 적합한 댄스필름의 영상성 및 시공간성과 무대공연의 현장성, 체험성을 함께 담아낼 수 있는 새로운 공연예술의 장이 다양하게 펼쳐져야 할 것으로 생각된다.
