This study aims to propose directions for enhancing the quality of dance education through learner-centered approaches. To this end, a systematic literature review was conducted on research trends related to Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) theory from 2014 to the first half of 2025. A total of 754 studies were initially identified through the RISS and KCI databases, with 131 selected after a secondary screening. Of these, 90 studies in the field of arts and physical education were analyzed in detail. The findings revealed that LMX was used as an independent variable in 38 studies, a moderating variable in 30, a mediating variable in 17, and a dependent variable in 5, indicating its significance as a key research variable. However, the results also highlight a lack of LMX-related research within the dance field. Accordingly, this study serves as a foundational reference for applying LMX theory to promote learner-centered, high-quality dance education.

본 연구는 학습자 중심으로 교육 패러다임이 변화하는 가운데 무용교육의 질적 향상을 위한 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 2014년부터 2025년 상반기까지 LMX이론의 연구동향을 체계적 문헌고찰 방법을 활용 해 분석하였다. 이에 자료수집은 RISS, KCI를 활용하였으며, 검색어는 LMX이론 관련 용어로 한정하였다. 분석 에 활용된 LMX이론 관련 연구는 총 754편으로, 이 중 본 연구와 관련 있는 사회, 인문분야 총 505편, 예술체 육분야 총 81편을 1차 선별하였다. 이를 2차 선별을 통해 131편을 선정한 후 최종적으로 예술체육 분야 총 90편을 분석하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 총 90편의 연구 가운데 38편(42.2%)이 LMX를 독립변수 로, 30편(33%)이 조절변수로, 17편(19%)이 매개변수로, 5편(5.6%)이 종속변수로 활용하는 것으로 나타나 예 술체육 분야에서 LMX를 주요 변인으로 보고하고 있음을 확인하였으나 무용분야에서 LMX이론을 활용한 연구 가 6편으로 매우 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 LMX 활용을 통한 무용교육 분야의 질적 향상에 이 론적 근거로서 기여할 것을 기대하는 바이다.
