This study aims to investigate the impact of the acceptability and validity of the admission system on identity formation and socio-cultural adaptation among Chinese international students majoring in dance at Korean universities. The research method involved an online survey of 207 international students from universities in Seoul, utilizing SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 to conduct frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, and bootstrapping. The results showed that both the validity and acceptability of the admission system positively influenced identity formation, while identity, in turn, had a significant effect on socio-cultural adaptation. The acceptability of the admission system also directly affected socio-cultural adaptation, whereas the validity of the system only exerted an indirect effect, mediated by identity. In conclusion, the cultural adaptation of international students is closely linked to the establishment of their identity and the development of cultural interpretation skills. Universities should provide support for understanding the admission system prior to enrollment and offer ongoing cultural counseling after admission to facilitate early adaptation.

본 연구는 한국 대학 무용 전공 중국 유학생을 대상으로 입시제도의 수용성이 정체성 혼란과 사회문화적 적응 에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로 서울 소재 대학 유학생 207명을 대상으로 인터 넷 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 25.0과 AMOS 25.0을 활용해 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형 분석과 부트스트래핑을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 입시제도의 수용성 하위요인인 제도 타당성과 제도 수용성 모두 정체성혼란에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 정체성혼란은 사회문화 적응에 유의한 영향을 주었다. 제도 수용성은 사 회문화 적응에 직접적 영향을 주었고, 제도 타당성은 정체성혼란을 매개로 한 간접 효과가 확인되었다. 결론적 으로, 무용 전공 중국 유학생의 문화 적응은 정체성 확립과 문화 해석 능력과 밀접하며, 이에 국내 대학은 입학 전 제도에 대한 이해 지원과 입학 후 지속적 문화 상담을 제공해 초기 적응을 돕는 것이 필요하다.
