Analysis of Anti-obesity efficacy by vegetable water extracts including Chokong using 3T3-L1 adipocytes

초록

영어

Obesity is defined as the abnormal state to accumulate excessive lipid and rapidly increasing in adipocytes. The clinical problem of obesity is known to be its strong association with a number of chronic diseases: high blood pressure, hyperlipidaemia, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, and cancer etc. In our research, we evaluated the efficacy of cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) water extracts including chokong group about lipid accumulation in cultured 3T3-Ll adipocytes. When water extract from vegetable and Chokong was applied to 3T3-L1 cells, showed strong inhibition on lipid accumulation under Oil Red O staining. The Result of lipid accumulation inhibit effectiveness showed that cherry tomato water extracts including Chokong group was superior than other groups of cherry tomato water extracts group and Chokong group. Protein and isoflavone analysis was done to verify the active anti-obesitic ingredients present in cherry tomato water extracts and Chokong because they are major and beneficial components for human health. From protein analysis, it was difficult to explain the relation between protein and anti-obesity because Chokong showed lower protein content. But cherry tomato water extracts and Chokong group was showed effectiveness anti-obesity When isoflavone including daidzin, daidzein, genistin and genistein was analyzed by HPLC as another possible ingredient for anti-obesity of cherry tomato water extracts and Chokong group, it was shown significantly higher total content than other groups.
