Contemporary exhibition spaces are shifting from visual appreciation to experiential immersive exhibitions empha sizing visitor interaction. However, existing research has focused individually on kinetic art's formative characteris tics or media art's technical aspects. This study proposes exhibition space design strategies maximizing visitors' e motional immersion through kinetic art and visual conten t convergence. The exhibition theme "Pepper Road" sym bolizes historical and cultural connections between Asian maritime cities, implemented at Gwangju ACC Complex Culture Hall 1. Through theoretical examination of kineti c art, six core formative elements were derived: moveme nt, transformation, contingency, light effects, visual perce ption, and playfulness. The study developed immersive s patial direction strategies by integrating wind, fabric, ligh ting, and media mapping with kinetic art collaboration. P hysical movement combined with visual content provides visitors with "narrative space" experiences where tempor ality and emotion converge. This research aims to verify that kinetic art as dynamic narrative medium effectively enhances exhibition space immersion and emotional respo nse. Future research will systematically evaluate effectiv eness through quantitative analysis of visitors' immersio n experience and satisfaction. This convergent exhibition strategy is expected to expand as next-generation exhibi tion design methodology based on emotional UX across various cultural space fields.

현대 전시 공간은 단순한 시각적 감상에서 벗어나 관람객 과의 상호작용을 중시하는 체험형 몰입 전시로 패러다임이 변화하고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들은 키네틱 아트의 조형적 특성이나 미디어아트의 기술적 측면에 개별적으로 초점을 맞 춘 경우가 대부분인 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 키네틱 아트와 시각 콘텐츠의 융합을 통해 관람객의 감성적 몰입을 극대화 하는 전시 공간 설계 전략을 제안한다. 아시아 해항 도시 간 의 역사적·문화적 연결성을 상징하는 ‘후추로드’가 전시의 주제이며, 광주 ACC 복합문화1관에 실제 적용하여 관람객에게 몰입적 경험을 극대화하기 위한 키네틱 아트를 활용한 콘텐 츠로 구현하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 키네틱 아트의 이 론적 고찰을 통해 운동성, 변형성, 우연성, 빛의 작용, 시지각 성, 유희성의 6가지 핵심 조형 요소를 도출하였다. 특히 작가 와의 협업을 통해 관람객이 키네틱 아트를 예술적 조형물로 인식하게 하고, 물리적 움직임을 더해 깊은 몰입감을 유도하 고자 하였다. 또한 바람, 천, 조명, 미디어 맵핑 등 다양한 시각 콘텐츠 요소를 융합하여 전시 공간의 독창성과 조형물이 주는 예술적 독창성을모두 확보할 수 있는몰입형 공간 연출 전략을 개발하였다. 키네틱 아트의 물리적 움직임이 시각 콘 텐츠와 결합되어 관람자에게 시간성과 감성이 융합된 '이야 기적 공간'의 몰입적 경험을 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 특히 정적 조형물을 넘어선 동적 내러티브 매개체로서 키네틱 아 트가 전시 공간의 몰입도와 정서적 반응을 효과적으로 강화 할 수 있음을 실제 전시 연출을 통해 검증하고자 한다. 향후 연구에서는 관람자들의 몰입 경험도와 만족도에 대한 정량적 분석을 통해 본 연구의 실효성을 보다 체계적으로 평가할 예 정이다. 이러한 융합적 전시 전략은 감성 UX 기반의 차세대 전시 디자인 방법론으로서 향후 다양한 전시 문화 공간 분야 에 확장 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
