The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among nursing informatics competency, metacognition, and clinical performance ability in nursing students. The participants were 138 third-year nursing students enrolled in four universities located in B Metropolitan City, South K Province, and North K Province. Data were collected using a structured survey that included instruments measuring nursing informatics competency, metacognition, and clinical performance ability. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS/PC WIN 25.0, employing frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé post hoc test, Pearson correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression. The mean scores for nursing informatics competency, metacognition, and clinical performance ability were 3.72 ± 0.64, 3.85 ± 0.62, and 3.99 ± 0.70, respectively, indicating a generally high level across all variables. A strong positive correlation was found between nursing informatics competency and clinical performance ability (r= .681, p< .001), as well as between metacognition and clinical performance ability (r= .684, p< .001). Significant predictors of clinical performance ability were metacognition (β= .453), nursing informatics competency (β= .414), and the number of weeks of clinical practicum (β= .126), with an explanatory power of 60.5%. The findings of this study may provide foundational data for the development of educational programs aimed at improving clinical performance ability in nursing education settings.

본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 간호정보역량, 메타인지, 임상수행능력 간의 관계를 파악하기 위함이다. 연구 대상 자는 B광역시, K남도, K북도 소재 4개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 3학년 학생 138명이었으며, 자료 수집은 간호정보역량, 메타인지, 임상수행능력 관련 도구를 활용한 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/PC WIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용 하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé 사후검정, Pearson 상관분석, 단계적 다중회귀분석(stepwise multiple regression)을 실시하였다. 연구 대상자의 간호정보역량은 평균평점 3.72 ± 0.64점, 메타인지는 평균평점 3.85 ± 0.62점, 임상수행능력은 평균평점 3.99 ± 0.70점으로 모두 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 간호정보역량과 임상수행능력 간 상관관계는 r= .681(p< .001)로 강한 정 도의 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 메타인지와 임상수행능력 간 상관관계는 r= .684(p< .001)로 역시 강한 정도의 정적 상관관 계를 나타냈다. 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인은 메타인지(β=.453), 간호정보역량(β=.414), 임상 실습주수(β=.126)의 순으로 나타났으며, 모형의 설명력은 60.5%였다. 본 연구 결과는 간호교육 현장에서 간호대학생의 임상 수행능력을 향상시키기 위한 교육 프로그램 개발에 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
