This study analyzes the college entrance examination admission data and population statistics of the two countries over the past three years using statistical methods, and predicts the population growth trend in the next decade, aiming to identify the correlation between the college entrance examination involution and negative population growth in South Korea and China. The research finds that in South Korea, the college entrance examination admission rate fluctuates, and the competition in various score segments is fierce; while in China, although the admission rate is relatively stable, the competition is equally severe. In terms of population, the birth rate, death rate and natural growth rate of both countries have shown specific changes. In-depth analysis shows that the college entrance examination involution affects people's willingness to have children from the educational level, and negative population growth, in turn, acts on the competition of the college entrance examination. Based on the above analysis, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions. For example, South Korea should optimize its college entrance examination system and the allocation of educational resources, and China should promote quality-oriented education and reform the enrollment system. At the same time, both countries need to adjust their social policies, such as improving the child-rearing support system (for instance, including the tuition fees of additional training courses or capacity improvement classes in tax exemption policies) and providing a childbirth-friendly working environment. They should learn from each other, seek common ground while reserving differences, and solve this prominent social contradiction faced by South Korea and China in the coming period. Of course, this requires the attention and joint efforts of the whole society, and this study also aims to arouse public attention to this severe issue.

본고는 통계학적인 방법을 통해, 최근 3년간 한중 양국의 대학입학시험인 수능과 중국의 高考 상황과 수험생 데이터를 분석하여, 장래 10년간 인구의 증감 추세를 예측 해 보았다. 이를 통해 한중 대학입시의 內卷化(Involution, 어떤 사물이 일정 단계까지 발전한 이후 더 이상 그 위로 올라가지 못하고 정체되는 현상)와 인구 절감과의 관련성 문제를 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 한국 수능은 각 등급별 경쟁이 매우 치열했으며, 중국의 고고는 비교적 안정적이지만 경쟁은 마찬가지로 심각했다. 인구수에서 양국의 출생률 과 사망률 및 자연 증가율은 모두 특정한 변화를 나타냈다. 대학입시의 내권화가 교육 적 측면에서 출산 희망 여부에 영향을 끼치고 있으며, 인구 감소 역시 대학입시의 경쟁 에 부작용을 끼치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 위와 같은 분석에 근거하여 본고는 몇 가지 정책적인 제안을 하였다. 예로 한국의 우수한 수능 제도와 교육 자원의 분배, 중국의 교양 교육 강화와 학생 모집 제도의 개혁 등이다. 또한 양국이 모두 사회정책을 조정할 필요가 있다고도 지적하였다. 육아장려시스템(예를 들어 특별반 또는 특성화반의 학비 면세 정책 등)의 보완, 친육아형 직장 환경 조성 등이다. 한중 양국은 공통적으로 겪고 있는 사회 문제에 대해 서로 머리를 맞대고 논의하여야 할 것이다. 물론 이는 온 사회가 함께 노력하는 것이 필수이며, 본고는 이 심각한 문제에 대해 더 많은 사람들이 관심을 갖게 하는 것을 목표로 삼고 있다.
