This study aimed to identify the level of problem behavior in children incarcerated and to analyze the child, relationship, and parenting environment factors that influence problem behavior. A gamma regression model was applied to the analysis based on data from the "Survey on the Status of Children in Incarcerated Persons." The results showed that, first, the level of problem behavior in children incarcerated was below average (1.69), which was low. Second, factors influencing problem behavior in children incarcerated were the child's health, school adjustment, the inmate's marital status, the relationship between the inmate and the caregiver, cohabitation between the caregiver and the child, and the burden of parenting. These findings emphasize the importance of the parenting environment and suggest the need to explore options for conditional home care. Furthermore, these findings suggest that they can lead to discussions on resilience, which can manifest in children with similar parenting environments exhibiting different growth trajectories.

본 연구는 수용자 자녀의 문제행동 수준을 파악하고, 문제행동에 영향을 미 치는 자녀, 관계, 양육환경요인을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. ‘수용자 자녀 실태 조사’ 자료를 토대로 감마회귀모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 수 용자 자녀의 문제행동 수준은 평균 이하(1.69)로 낮은 수준이었다. 둘째, 수용 자 자녀의 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자녀의 건강 상태, 학교생활적응, 수용자의 혼인상태, 수용자와 양육자 관계, 양육자와 자녀의 동거, 양육부담이 었다. 이러한 분석결과는 양육 환경의 중요성과 더불어 양육 조건부 재택 처우 방안이 모색될 필요가 있음을 함의한다. 또한, 본 연구 결과는 유사한 양육 환경에서 자녀의 성장 궤적이 다르게 나타나는 회복탄력성에 대한 논의로 이어 질 수 있음을 시사한다.
