Entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized as a key driver of economic value, prompting attention to how entrepreneurial ecosystems sustain entrepreneurial activity. Prior research has linked ecosystems and entrepreneurship through interdisciplinary lenses but often lacked depth due to conceptual complexity and heterogeneity. Building on a systems approach, this study empirically investigates ecosystem mechanisms across different forms of entrepreneurship. Using a balanced panel dataset, structural path analysis and panel regression reveal that ecosystemal environmental factors positively influence entrepreneurship and foster regional economic growth. Organizational-level factors are particularly critical, with differential effects on technology-based versus general entrepreneurship. This multi-level analysis advances structural understanding of the dynamic nature of entrepreneurial ecosystems and offers implications for research, practice, and policy.

기업가적 생태계는 지역에서 기업가정신을 지속해서 창출하는 새로운 시스템으로 최근 새로운 경제성장의 중요한 주제로써 심도있게 연구되고 있다. 이러한 배경에서 기업가적 생태계와 기업가정신의 관계를 살펴보고자 하는 시도가 경영학·혁신학·경제학 등 다양한 학문적 관점에서 이루어지고 있지만 개념적 복합성과 연구 편향성 등의 문제로 다소 분절적이고 심도 있게 논의되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 기업가정신의 시스템적 접근의 선행연구를 바탕으로 기업가적 생태계의 작동 메커니즘을 기업가정신의 유형을 고려하여 실증하고자 하였다. 균형 패널데이터를 구축하여 구조모형을 활용한 경로분석과 패널데이터 회귀분석으로 이어지는 다층적 분석구조를 수립하여 기업가적 생태계의 작동 메커니즘을 실증하고 더욱 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 기업가적 생태계의 환경요인이 기업가정신에 긍정적 영향을 주고 궁극적으로 지역경제 발전을 이끄는 요인임을 확인하였고, 기업가정신의 이질적 유형에 따른 환경요인의 영향관계를 구체적으로 확인하였다. 결론적으로, 다차원적이고 동태적인 기업가적 생태계와 기업가정신과의 관계를 구조적으로 이해하고 학문적·실무적·정책적 관점에서 다채로운 논의가 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.
