The Purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting welfare service perceived by the elderly at home and facilities in Jollanam-do and their life satisfavtion in order to provide appropriate welfare service to old people at home and facilities and to enhance their life satisfaction. The results of the analysis, First, with regard to differences in the subject's perception on social service that they were receiving, perception on general social service was significantly higher in elders in facilities than in those at home. second, with regard to factors affecting social service perceived by the elderly and their life satisfaction, social service preceived by the elderly was affected most by their academic qualification and their life satisfaction was affected most by leisure activities and second most by economic level. Based on the results of the analysis, The two types of welfare service should develop in balance, complementing each other.

본 연구는 전남지역 재가ㆍ시설노인의 노인복지서비스 인식 및 생활만족에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고, 이를 기초로 하여 재가ㆍ시설노인들에게 적합한 서비스의 제공과 더불어 이들의 생활만족을 제고하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 분석결과, 첫째, 조사대상자가 제공받고 있는 사회적서비스 인식의 차이에서는 시설노인이 재가노인에 비하여 사회적서비스 전체에서 매우 높은 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 다음은, 사회적 서비스 및 생활만족에 미치는 영향 요인에서는 노인들이 인식하는 사회적 서비스에 가장 큰 영향력을 지닌 변인은 교육수준, 여가활동 유무, 경제수준 등으로 나타났다. 재가 및 시설노인을 위한 복지서비스는 보다 체계적이고 전문적인 양질의 서비스가 제공되어야 하며 이 두 가지 서비스는 서로 보완하면서 균형있게 발전해 나가야 할 것으로 사료된다.
