In modern society, highways serve as crucial transportation infrastructure, facilitating movement across diverse regions. As travelers using highways, they frequently stop at rest areas or spots around interchanges (ICs) to relax, explore local specialties or visit nearby tourist destinations. However, finding up-to-date and reliable information about these spots can be challenging, typically requiring users to sift through multiple websites or rely on time-consuming personal reviews. This research aims to simplify that process by developing an integrated web service which provides comprehensive information on restaurants and tourist attractions near highway ICs. Utilizing NAVER API and text mining techniques, the system gathers and analyzes blog posts, extracting key information and ranking results based on user searches related to specific ICs. The web service integrates a user-friendly interface and supports additional information retrieval via Google search, enabling users to explore their interests further. User testing, conducted in alignment with Davis's Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), revealed a high level of satisfaction with the web service's usability and functionality. Participants in the study found the service to be a valuable tool in planning their trips, with particular appreciation for the accuracy of the information provided and the simplicity of the interface. The implementation of this web service is expected to enhance user experience by offering consolidated region-specific information into a single, accessible resource and facilitate the promotion of local attractions, potentially boosting regional economic activities.
