This study examines the current status and characteristics of the woodblocks housed at the Chilbaek Uichong Memorial Hall in Geumsan, South Chungcheong Province. The Chilbaek Uichong Memorial Hall currently houses 108 woodblocks related to Jo Heon, which were moved from Huyuldang in Okcheon, North Chungcheong Province, in the early 1990s. The types and quantity of woodblocks are 56 for the Hangui Sinpyeon, 26 for the Donghwan Bongsa, and 26 for the Jangbo tongnok, for a total of 108. Of these, three additional woodblocks for the Hangui Sinpyeon are housed at the Okcheon Local History Exhibition Hall, bringing the total number extant to 111. Hangui Sinpyeon was compiled by An Bang-jun and first published in Jeolla Province between 1619 and 1621. The woodblocks were later moved to Okcheon and stored there until 1863, when Volumes 5 and 6 were added as appendices and published again in 1894 with additional content. The woodblocks for Donghwan bongsa were carved at Songgwangsa Temple in 1626 and are missing three of the 29 sheets. The woodblocks for Jangbo tongnok are titled Pansimje, and the content carved on the woodblocks is included in the appendix volumes 1, 2, 4, and 7 of Jungbongjip published in 1748. Therefore, it is presumed that these woodblocks were produced to print Jo Heon’s appendix to Jungbongjip. The total number of woodblocks produced is estimated to have been 149, but only 26 currently remain. The woodblocks are believed to have been produced shortly after the first publication of Jungbongjip in 1666. Given that many of the woodblocks are unfinished, including the missing printed copies and the unfinished woodblocks and their ends, they appear to be unfinished.

이 연구는 충남 금산의 칠백의총기념관에 소장된 목판의 현황과 특징에 대해 고찰하였다. 칠백의총기념관은 1990년대 초 충북 옥천의 후율당에 소장되어 있던 조헌 관련 목판을 이관하여 소장하고 있다. 목판의 종류와 수량은 ｢항의신편｣ 56매, ｢동환봉사｣ 26매, ｢장보통록｣ 26매로 총 108매이다. 이중 ｢항의신편｣ 목판 3매는 옥천향토전시관에 추가로 소장되어 있어, 후율당에 소장되었던 목판은 총 111매가 현전하고 있다. ｢항의신편｣은 안방준이 편찬하여 1619년에서 1621년 사이에 전라도에서 처음 간행되었다. 이후 목판은 옥천으로 옮겨져 보관해 오다가 1863년에 권5-6을 부록으로 추가하여 중간되었고, 1894년에 다시 내용을 추가하여 삼간되었다. ｢동환봉사｣ 목판은 1626년 송광사에서 판각된 것으로 총 29매 중 3매가 부족한 상태이다. ｢장보통록｣ 목판은 판심제를 제목으로 삼은 것인데, 판각된 내용은 1748년에 간행된 교서관본 ｢중봉집｣ 부록 권1, 2, 4, 7에 수록되어 있어, 이 목판은 조헌의 ｢중봉집｣ 부록을 인쇄하기 위해 제작된 것으로 추정된다. 총 제작 수량은 149매에 이를 것으로 추정되나 현재는 26매만 전하고 있으며, 제작은 1666년 ｢중봉집｣이 초간된 후 얼마되지 않은 시기로 추정된다. 인본이 전하지 않는 것과 목판의 어미와 마구리 등이 아직 완성되지 않은 것이 많아 완성되지 않은 목판으로 보인다.
