This study aims to analyze the color characteristics of Tang Sancai Zhenmiao and explore its cultural symbolism to build a color library applicable to fantasy design. A total of 100 Zhenmiao samples were collected, and the K-means clustering algorithm in Python was applied to extract the main colors. Subsequently, color ratios and network analysis were conducted to examine the color distribution of Zhenmiao. The results revealed that Zhenmiao predominantly features warm and mid-tone shades, with red and yellow representing important cultural symbols such as auspiciousness, prosperity, talismans, and social status. Additionally, the color distribution showed a tendency to align with the Five Elements philosophy. Through secondary clustering and network analysis, the interrelationship between colors was identified, reflecting the social, cultural, and aesthetic systems of the period. This study has established a useful color database for fantasy character design and special makeup design, and it suggests the need for further research into sample expansion and color-material fusion.

본 연구는 당삼채 진묘수의 색상 특성을 분석하고, 그 문화적 상징성을 탐구하여 판타지 디자인에 활용 가능한 색상 라이브러리를 구축하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 100개의 진묘수 샘플을 수집하고, Python의 K-means 군집화 알고리즘 을 적용하여 주요 색상을 추출하였다. 이어서 색상 비율 및 네트워크 분석을 통해 진묘수의 색상 분포를 분석하였다. 연 구 결과, 진묘수는 주로 따뜻한 색조와 중간 색조가 특징적이며, 적색과 황색은 길상, 번영, 부적, 신분 등 중요한 문화적 상징을 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 색상 분포는 오행 사상과 일치하는 경향을 보였다. 2차 군집화와 네트워크 분석을 통해 색상 간의 공존 관계를 규명하였으며, 이는 당대의 사회적, 문화적 맥락과 미적 체계를 반영하는 것으로 해석되었 다. 본 연구는 판타지 캐릭터 디자인 및 특수 분장 디자인에 유용한 색상 데이터베이스를 구축한 한편, 향후 샘플 확대 와 색상-재질 융합 연구의 필요성을 제시한다.
