Purpose: This study aims to empirically analyze the effects of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and organizational commitment on organizational safety culture in financial institutions. Method: A survey was conducted among employees working in domestic financial institutions to collect data on BCMS, organizational commitment, and organizational safety culture. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. Result: All components of BCMS— organizational status, leadership, support, operations, and performance evaluation—were found to have a statistically significant positive effect on organizational commitment, with operations having the strongest influence. Additionally, BCMS components also had a significant impact on organizational safety culture, Furthermore, organizational commitment was found to have a partial mediating effect in the relationship between BCMS and organizational safety culture, thereby reinforcing the impact of BCMS on safety culture through organizational commitment. Conclusion: This study empirically confirms that BCMS and organizational commitment are key factors influencing the organizational safety culture of financial institutions. Accordingly, it is necessary for financial institutions to strengthen the implementation of BCMS and to strategically enhance employee education and training aimed at promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

연구목적: 본 연구는 금융기관을 대상으로 업무연속성관리시스템(Business Continuity Management System, BCMS)과 조직몰입이 조직 안전문화에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 국내 금융기관에 종사하는 직원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 BCMS, 조직몰입, 조직 안전문화에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 26.0을 활용하여 구조방정식모델을 통해 분석하였 다. 연구결과: BCMS의 구성 요소인 조직현황, 리더십, 지원, 운영, 성과평가는 모두 조직몰입에 유의한 정(+) 의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 중 리더십이 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, BCMS 구성 요소들은 조 직 안전문화에도 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 조직몰입은 BCMS와 조직 안전문화 간의 관계에서 부분 매개과를 가지는 것으로 나타나, BCMS와 조직몰입이 조직 안전문화에 미치는 영향을 강화하는 역할을 수행함이 입증되었다. 결론: 본 연구는 BCMS와 조직몰입이 금융기관의 조직 안전문화에 있어 핵심적인 영향 요인임을 실증적으로 확인하였다. 이에 따라 금융기관은 BCMS의 내실화와 함께 구성 원의 조직 안전문화 제고를 위한 교육과 훈련을 전략적으로 강화할 필요가 있다.
