The purpose of the study is to explain the policy direction of the educational pledges of the 21st presidential candidates, No. 1 Lee Jaemyung, No. 2 Kim Moon-soo, and No. 4 Lee Joon-seok, and to analyze the direction of the issue. The research method was analyzed focusing on the Central Election Commission’s pledge, election campaign content, discussion content, and media materials. As a result of the study, candidate Lee Jae-myung presented an educational pledge dealing with a wide range of publicity and accountability. It brought a limit to the sense of disparity between the above and reality. In addition, there is no specific roadmap for financing or policies. The design of education policy was established in the direction of operation and promotion by the National Board of Education. Candidate Kim Moon-soo has a traditional conservative education view, pursued change in the current education system, and focused on digital transformation and efficiency. In addition, the education policy was set as the policy direction to be promoted with local governments centered on the Ministry of Education. There are also concerns about the weakening of democracy centered on the unilateral state-led initiative. Candidate Lee Jun-seok focused on strengthening practicality and teaching authority, but the policy was concentrated in one place and there was no long-term vision.

연구 목적은 21대 대통령 후보자인 기호 1번 이재명, 기호 2번 김문수, 기호 4번 이준석 후보의 교육 공약의 정책 방향을 설명하고, 쟁점 방향을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 중앙선거관리위원회 공약집, 선거유세 내용, 토론 내용, 언론자료를 중심으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 이재명 후보는 폭넓은 공공성과 책임성을 다룬 교육 공약 을 제시하였다. 이상과 현실 사이에서 괴리감의 한계를 가져왔다. 또한, 재원 마련이나 정책에 대한 구체적인 로드맵이 제시되어있지 않다. 교육 정책의 설계는 국가교육위원회에서 운영하고, 추진하는 방향으로 설정 하였다. 김문수 후보는 전통적인 보수교육관을 가지며, 현재 교육체제에 서 변화를 추구하였고, 디지털 전환과 효율성에 초점을 맞추었다. 그리고 교육 정책은 교육부 중심으로 지방자치단체와 같이 추진하는 것을 정책 방향으로 설정하였다. 일방적인 국가 주도 중심으로 민주성의 약화 우려 가 존재하기도 한다. 이준석 후보는 실용성과 교권 강화에 집중하였지만, 정책이 한곳으로 편중되었고, 장기비전이 없었다.
