This study was conducted with the assumption that the structural and managerial characteristics of Army Aviation organizations may directly influence pilots' safety behavior through their safety culture. Accordingly, the purpose of this research was to empirically analyze the impact of safety culture on the safety behavior of Army Aviation pilots. Data were collected from 50 pilots actively serving in Army Aviation, and the analysis was carried out based on the proposed research model. However, the study has a limitation in that it was unable to identify differences in key variables based on factors such as pilots' rank, qualifications, and flight experience. Future studies could yield more objective results by utilizing validated measurement tools and applying various analytical methods based on this research. The empirical results revealed that the safety culture within Army Aviation has a positive effect on safety behavior. This suggests that initiatives such as aviation safety events and safety proposal reporting, which are part of aviation safety management buyout, likely play a significant role in shaping pilots' safety behavior.

본 연구는 육군항공 조직의 구조적, 관리적 특징으로 인한 안전문화가 조종사의 안전행동에도 직접적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 가능성을 가지고 수행되었으며, 이에 따라 육군항공 조종사의 안전문화가 안전행동 에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해, 육군항공에서 현역으로 복무 중인 조종사 50명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 설정한 연구모형에 따라 분석을 진행하였다. 하지만 조종사의 계급, 자격, 비행경력 등을 기준으로 주요 변수별 차이를 식별하지 못한 한계점을 가진다. 향후에는 본 연구를 바탕으로 검증된 척도와 다양한 분석방법을 통하여 연구한다면 더욱 객관적인 결과가 도출될 수 있을 것이다. 실증 분석결과, 육군항공 조종사의 안전문화는 안전행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 이는 육군항공의 항공안전 행사, 항공안전 제안보고 등 항공안전관리를 통한 안전문화가 조종사의 안전행동에 영향을 미치는 것이라고 예상된다.
