To mark the 100th anniversary of poet Song Wook’s birth, this study attempts to reinterpret his poetics in the context of the age of artificial intelligence. First, focusing on the ‘imagination’, the core concept of poetry, this study examines the flow of Buddhist symbolism and philosophical thinking in the series “Haein Sonata”. Compared to other poems by Song Wook, this series reflects Buddhist doctrine more directly. Through this, it can be confirmed that the poet’s thinking was gradually expanding from doctrinal perception to ontological thinking. Next, the study examines Song Wook’s consistent critique of scientific thinking in poetry, and highlights the importance of human imagination and emotional response. This reaffirms that literature remains an existential art based on human senses, experiences, traditions, and imagination in the face of blurring boundaries in the age of artificial intelligence. In particular, the ‘imaginatio’ emphasized in Song Wook’s poetry is a human ontological essence that cannot be replaced by mechanical combinations or statistical prediction alone. In the future, his poetics are closely tied to unique artistic qualities such as the transcendence of rhythm, memory, tradition, and emotion. Therefore, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary, this study explores the direction of artificial intelligence literature through Song Wook’s poetry, questioning the essence of “creation” rather than merely writing and continues the ontological meaning and critical questions of human imagination.

본 연구는 송욱(宋稶) 시인의 탄생 100주년을 맞아 그의 시론을 인공지능 시대라는 새로운 맥락 속에서 재해석한다. 먼저 시론의 핵심 개념인 ‘시적 상상력’을 중심으로 연작 시 「해인연가」에 나타난 불교적 상징성과 철학적 사유의 흐름을 고찰한다. 이 연작시는 송욱의 다른 시에 비해 불교 교리가 더욱 직접적으로 반영되어 있으며, 이를 통해 시인 의 사유가 점차 교리적 인식에서 존재론적 사유로 확장됨을 확인할 수 있다. 다음으로 송욱이 시론에서 지속적으로 비판한 과학주의적 사고방식과 그에 반하는 인간의 상상 력과 정서적 감응의 중요성에 주목한다. 이는 인공지능 시대에 경계가 모호해지는 상 황 속에서 문학이 여전히 인간의 감각과 경험, 전통과 상상력에 기반한 실존적 예술임 을 재확인한다. 특히 송욱 시론에서 강조하는 ‘상상력’은 기계적 조합이나 통계적 예측 만으로는 대체할 수 없는 인간의 존재론적 본질이다. 그리고 추후 리듬·기억·전통· 감정의 초월과 같은 고유한 예술적 조건들과 긴밀히 연결됨을 그의 시론을 통해 규명 한다. 본 연구는 100주년을 기념하여 송욱 시론을 통해 인공지능 시대 문학이 나아가야 할 방 향성을 모색하며, 단순히 사유만을 반영하는 상상력이 아닌 내면을 아우르고 존재론적 인 성찰로 나아가는 ‘상상력’의 개념을 살핀다. 나아가 이러한 상상력이 인공지능 시대 ‘쓰기’가 아닌 존재에 대한 이해와 삶을 지속하는 진정한 ‘창작’의 본질이 됨을 확인하 고, 인간의 상상력이 지닌 존재론적 의미와 비판적 물음을 이어가고자 한다.
