AI-generated art has emerged as a central issue in society, prompting a reconsideration of creativity, authorship, and artistic subjectivity in contemporary art. AI contributes meaningfully to various artistic practices, challenging the established humanist theories in aesthetics. This study, using Donna Haraway’s cyborg ontology as a theoretical framework, explores how AI-generated art embodies the principles of posthumanism. Through a literature-based theoretical analysis, four core areas were examined: human-machine collaboration, the dismantling of dualist aesthetics, the political nature of representational systems, and the reconfiguration of authorship. The results reveal that AI-generated art decentralizes individual artistic subjectivity, enabling relational creativity within a network of human and non-human collaboration, while simultaneously exposing the political nature of technology and ontological issues through cyborg hybridity and data bias. The AI artist is redefined as an agent situated within a network of systems and algorithms, rather than as an isolated creator. This study positions AI-generated art as a practice of posthuman aesthetics and demonstrates how Haraway’s theory contributes to reimagining human-centered notions of art. Furthermore, it highlights the need for an integrated analysis of AI art within ethical, ecological, and cultural contexts, suggesting future research directions concerning data labor, surveillance, and energy consumption as part of a conceptual foundation for the expansion of AI art discourse.

AI 생성 예술이 현대 문화 생산의 중심 화두로 떠오르며, 현대미술의 창의성, 작가성, 예술적 주체성 정의의 재검토가 요구된다. AI는 더 이상 기술적 참신함에만 국한되지 않고 다양한 예술 창작에 기여하여 미학에서 확립된 휴머니스트 이론에 도전한다. 이에 본 연구는 도나 해러웨이의 사이보그 존재론을 이론적 틀로, AI 생성 예술이 포스 트휴머니즘 원칙을 어떻게 구현하는지 탐색하였다. 인간과 기계의 협업, 이원론 미학의 해체, 표현 체계의 정치성, 저 자성의 재구성을 증심 분석 항목으로 문헌 기반의 이론적 고찰을 진행하였다. 그 결과, AI 생성 예술은 창작 주체의 단일한 저자성을 분산시키고, 인간-비인간 협업의 네트워크 속에서 관계적 창작을 수행하며, 사이보그적 혼성성과 데 이터 편향성을 통해 기술의 정치성과 존재론적 질문을 함께 드러낸다. AI 예술가는 고립된 창작자가 아닌 시스템과 알고리즘의 관계망 속에 위치한 하나의 행위자로 재정의된다. 이러한 분석을 통해 본 연구는 AI 생성 예술을 포스트 휴먼 미학의 실천으로 이해하고, 해러웨이 이론이 인간 중심의 예술 개념을 재구성하는 데 기여함을 밝혔다. 또한 AI 생성 예술을 윤리적, 생태적, 문화적 맥락에서 통합적으로 분석할 필요성과 함께 향후 연구 방향으로 데이터 노동, 알 고리즘 편향, 에너지 소비 등의 사회적 문제를 제시하며, AI 예술 담론의 확장을 위한 개념적 기초를 제공 한다.
