This study aims to develop teaching and learning strategies for Nabichum (Butterfly Dance), one of the Jakbeop ritual dances, through cross-curricular integration and to apply these strategies in educational settings. The research methodology involved a literature review examining cross-curricular integration methods, the characteristics of Jakbeop and Nabichum as well as analyzing prior studies related to cross-curricular approaches and Buddhist educational elements. Additionally, an analysis of the curriculum and textbooks was conducted to identify achievement standards that are directly related to Buddhism or can incorporate Buddhist elements. Regarding the research content, the study extracted key elements of Nabichum and linked them to relevant school subjects to establish a “Theme－Extracted Elements－ Subject－Achievement Standard－Activity” framework. Based on this framework, four activities for music, two for art, two for physical education and two for social studies were designed and arranged in the order of social studies, music, art and physical education. The results of the study present a detailed eight-session cross-curricular teaching and learning plan for Nabichum including activity materials. The study confirms that the proposed strategies can positively impact educational settings.

본 연구는 교과 간 연계를 통해 작법 의식무 중 하나인 나비춤의 교수ㆍ학습 방안을 개발 하고 이를 교육 현장에 적용하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌 연구를 통해 교과 간 융합 방식, 작법과 나비춤의 특징을 고찰하고 교과 간 융합 및 불교 요소 관련 선행 연구를 분석하였다. 또한 교육과정과 교과서 분석을 통해 불교와 직접 관련되거나 불교 요소를 접목할 수 있는 성취기준을 도출하였다. 연구 내용으로는 나비춤의 핵심 요소를 추출하여 관련 교과와 연계하는 ‘주제－추출 요소 －교과－성취기준－활동’ 체계를 마련하였다. 이를 바탕으로 음악 4개, 미술 2개, 체육 2개, 사회 2개의 활동을 설계하고 사회-음악-미술－체육 순으로 배열하였다. 연구 결과 총 8차시에 걸친 나비춤 교과 간 연계형 교수ㆍ학습 방안을 구체적인 활동 자료 와 함께 제시하였으며 제안된 방안이 교육 현장에서 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하 였다.
