This study aimed to examine the relationships among employment anxiety, academic burnout, and social network service (SNS) addiction tendencies among nursing students. A descriptive correlational study was conducted with 163 nursing students between their first to fourth years enrolled in nursing departments at universities located in the Chungcheong region of South Korea. Data were collected from October 1 to October 30, 2024, and analyzed using SPSS WIN 24.0. The results revealed that employment anxiety was significantly positively correlated with both academic burnout (r=.561, p<.001) and SNS addiction tendencies (r=.531, p<.001). Academic burnout also demonstrated a significant positive correlation with SNS addiction tendencies (r=.530, p<.001). These findings highlight the potential impact of psychological stressors—such as employment-related anxiety and academic exhaustion—on maladaptive coping behaviors like excessive SNS use. The development of targeted intervention programs, including strategies for regulating SNS use, is warranted to support mental health and prevent SNS addiction tendencies among nursing students.

본 연구는 간호학과에 재학 중인 대학생을 대상으로 취업불안, 학업스트레스로 인한 소진과 소셜네트워 크서비스(Social Network Service, SNS) 중독경향성 간의 관련성을 분석하고자 하였다. 충청권 소재 대학의 간 호학과에 재학 중인 1~4학년 간호대학생 163명을 대상으로 서술적 상관관계연구를 수행하였다. 자료수집은 2024년 10월 1일부터 10월 30일까지 진행되었으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석 하였다. 취업불안은 학업스트레스로 인한 소진(r=.561, p<.001)과 SNS 중독경향성(r=.531, p<.001)에서 정적 상 관관계를 보였다. 학업스트레스로 인한 소진은 SNS 중독경향성(r=.530, p<.001)에서 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 따라서 간호대학생의 정신건강을 증진하고 SNS 중독경향을 예방하기 위해 SNS 사용조절을 포함한 맞춤형 중 재프로그램 개발이 요구된다.
