This study aims to identify the influence of variables influencing the marriage intentions of unmarried young adults in their 30s in Korea, thereby providing data for marriage-related policies and interventions. To this end, data from the ʻ2022 Youth Life Surveyʼ, a nationwide survey of households aged 19-34 and their families in 17 cities and provinces, were used for analysis. Data from 2,013 unmarried young adults in their 30s were collected. To predict the influence of income, human resources for the future, family support, and perception of gender conflict on the marriage intentions of unmarried young adults in their 30s, we controlled for gender, education, residential region, and employment status and conducted a hierarchical logistic regression analysis. Overall, 75.9% of the study subjects reported a willingness to marry, with men showing a higher willingness to marry than women. Human resources for the future and family support had a positive effect on the marriage intentions of both men and women, while perception of gender conflict had a negative effect. Perception of gender conflict did not have a statistically significant effect on men's intention to marry, but it had a negative effect on women's intention to marry. Youth income did not have a statistically significant effect on marriage intention for either men or women. This suggests that to promote marriage among young people who lack sufficient human resources and family support for the future, social support systems and public assistance are needed to compensate for these gaps. Furthermore, it suggests the need to create a social environment that addresses gender conflict, which negatively impacts marriage intentions.

본 연구는 우리나라에서 30대 미혼 청년의 결혼의향에 영향을 미치는 변인들의 영향력을 파악하여 결혼과 관련된 정책 및 개입 방안을 위한 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전국 17개 시·도 일반 가구 내의 만 19~34세 가구원과 그 가구원이 속한 가구를 대상으로 조사가 실시된 ʻ2022년 청년 삶 실태조사ʼ 데이터 중 30대 미혼 청년 2,013명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 소득, 미래를 위한 인적자원, 가족 지지 및 젠더 갈등인식이 30대 미혼 청년의 결혼의향에 미치는 영향력을 예측하기 위해 성별, 학력, 거주지역, 취업 여부를 통제한 후 위계적 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 대상자들의 75.9%는 결혼의향이 있다고 응답하였으며 남성의 결혼의향이 여성보다 높았다. 미래를 위한 인적 자원, 가족 지지는 남성과 여성의 결혼의향에 모두 정적인 영향을 미쳤으나 젠더 갈등인식은 결혼의향에 부적인 영향력을 나타냈다. 젠더 갈등인식은 남성의 결혼의향에는 통계적으로 유의한 영향력을 나타내지 않았지만 여성의 결혼의향에는 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 청년 소득은 남성과 여성 모두 결혼의향에 통계적으로 유의한 영향력을 나타내 지 않았다. 미래를 위한 인적자원 및 가족 지지가 충분하지 못한 청년들의 결혼 촉진을 위해서는 이를 대체해 줄 수 있는 사회적 지지체제 및 공적 지원이 필요하며 결혼의향에 부정적 작용을 하는 젠더 갈등 해소를 위한 사회적 환경 조성이 필요함을 시사한다.
