This study designed and established a usability verification model for passengers in order to assess the applicability of domestic CT(Computed Tomography) X-ray and ATRS(Automatic Tray Return System) at airports. It developed quantitative and qualitative test items and evaluation criteria for performance and operations, and conducted a verification assessment. The test items for the verification were selected through a review of relevant literature, consultations with airport operators and aviation security stakeholders, and interviews and surveys with security personnel. The results were evaluated according to the established test criteria for each item. The results of the verification indicated that all operational functions and specifications of the equipment met the evaluation criteria of this study. However, the functions still under development fell short of the criteria or required further improvements. Based on these findings, directions for improving future verification studies were derived, including expanding to an integrated system level, adding detailed functional items, considering exceptional cases, and broadening the sample population.

본 연구는 국산 CT(Computed Tomography) X-ray 및 ATRS(Automatic Tray Return System) 장비의 공항 적용 가능성을 판단하기 위해, 여객 대상 사용성 실증 모델을 설계/구축하고 성능 및 운영 측면의 정량·정성적 시험 항목과 평가 기준을 마련하여 실증 평가를 진행하였다. 실증 대상은 국토교통 R&D로 개발 중인 CT X-ray, ATRS, AI 자동 판독시스템이며, 실증을 위한 Test bed는 공항 여객 참여를 위해 인천국제공항 비보안구역에 구축하였다. 실증시험 항목은 관련 문헌 조사, 공항운영자 등 항공보안 관계자 검토, 보안검색 요원 인터뷰 및 설문을 통해 선정하였다. 실증시험 결과, 모든 실증 대상의 운용 기능 및 규격 사항은 본 연구의 평가 기준을 만족하였으나, 개발 진행 중인 기능 항목은 기준에 미달되거나 보완이 필요하였다. 이를 통해 통합 시스템 수준으로의 확장, 세부 기능 항목 추가, 특이사례 고려, 표본 군 확대 등 향후 실증 연구의 평가 항목 개선 방향을 도출할 수 있었다.
