The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the relationship between children's socioeconomic deficiency, community environment, and health. To this end, the data of 「Study on the Status and Guarantee of Youth's Housing Rights (2020)」 surveyed by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were used, and 5,631 children under the age of 18 who responded to the survey were selected and analyzed as survey subjects. The main analysis results are as follows. First, children's socioeconomic deficiency had a negative (-) effect on the community environment. Second, children's community environment had a positive (+) effect on health. Third, children's socioeconomic deficiency had a negative (-) effect on their health. Finally, in the relationship between children's socioeconomic deficiency and health, the community environment showed a partial mediating effect. Focusing on the above research results, policy and practical suggestions for bridging the socioeconomic deficiency gap and improving the community for children's health were made.

본 연구는 아동의 사회경제적 결핍과 지역사회환경, 건강의 영향 관계를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한 국청소년정책연구원에서 조사한 「청소년의 주거권 실태와 보장방안 연구(2020)」 자료를 활용하였으며, 조사에 응답한 18세 미만의 아동 5,631명을 조사대상자로 선정하여 분석하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동의 사회경제적 결핍은 지역사회환경에 부(-)의 영향력이 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 지역사회환경은 건강에 정(+)의 영향력이 나타났다. 셋째, 아동의 사회경제적 결핍은 건강에 부(-)의 영향력이 나타났다. 마지막으로, 아동의 사회경제적 결핍과 건강과의 영향 관계에서 지역 사회환경은 부분 매개효과가 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 중심으로 아동의 건강을 위해 사회경제적 결핍 격차 해소와 지역 사회 개선을 위한 정책적 실천적 제언을 하였다.
