This study aims to explore research trends in hospice and palliative care through text mining analysis, focusing on key domestic and international keywords, and to provide foundational data for future research in this field. The study utilized domestic databases (RISS, Science ON, KISS, DBpia) and international databases (PubMed, CINAHL). Research articles with “Hospice” or “Palliative care” in the title or abstract, published between January 2018 and May 2024, were included: 314 domestic and 4,351 international articles were analyzed. Data analysis was conducted using Python 3.12.4, employing word frequency analysis, text network analysis, and WordCloud visualization. Frequently appearing keywords in domestic studies were: care, hospice, patients, study, palliative, death, life-sustaining etc. In international studies, the most frequent terms included: care, palliative, patients, review, cancer, studies, quality etc. This study provides a foundation for developing future research topics, methodologies, and policies in hospice and palliative care in Korea.

본 연구는 텍스트마이닝 분석을 통해 국내･외의 호스피스완화돌봄 키워드를 중심으로 연구동향을 탐색하고 향후 호 스피스완화돌봄 연구에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 국내 데이터베이스는 RISS, Science ON, KISS, DBpia, 국외 데이터베이스는 Pubmed, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature을 이용하였다. 2018년부터 2024년 5월까지 제목과 초록 모두에서 Hospice or Palliative care가 출현하는 문헌을 대상으로 국내 314편, 국외 4,351편 논문을 분석하였다. 자료분석은 Python 3.12.4를 이용하였고, 단어 단순빈도분석과 텍스트 네트워크, 그리고 워드클라우드 를 생성하였다. 국내 논문에서 출현 빈도가 높은 단어는 care, hospice, patients, study, palliative, death, lifesustaining 등 순위였고, 국외 연구에서는 care, palliative, patients, review, cancer, studies, quality 등이었다. 본 연구 는 향후 호스피스 완화돌봄의 연구주제 및 방법론 선정에 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.
