The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the globalization system and severed international communication through enhanced surveillance, the rise of nationalism, and stricter border controls. These changes dealt a severe blow to Korean churches' overseas missionary activities, resulting in many missionaries being involuntarily withdrawn or expelled. This study seeks strategic redeployment strategies for withdrawn missionaries to restore the weakened momentum of Korean missions in the pandemic era. It proposes establishing effective ministry through a ubiquitous mission approach and expanding missions through locally-centered indigenous missions. Additionally, it presents strategies for building a global mission platform and redeploying missionaries who cannot return to their previous mission fields as missionaries to domestic immigrant communities. Through this, missionaries can position themselves as active participants in 'reverse mission' and 'reverse sending.' This study emphasizes the necessity of mission practice suited to the new era that God is opening, rather than dwelling on past losses. Ultimately, it aims to present a new mission paradigm for the pandemic era through sustainable mission strategies that transcend geographical limitations.

코로나19 팬데믹은 세계화 시스템을 교란시키며 감시 강화, 국가주의 부상, 국경 통제 엄격화 등을 통해 국제적 소통을 단절시켰다. 이러한 변화 는 한국교회의 해외 선교 활동에 심각한 타격을 주어 많은 선교사들이 비 자발적으로 철수하거나 추방되는 결과를 초래했다. 본 연구는 팬데믹 시대 에 약화된 한국선교의 동력을 회복하기 위해 철수된 선교사들의 전략적 재배치 방안을 모색한다. 유비쿼터스 선교 접근 방식을 통해 효과적인 사역 을 정착시키고, 현지 중심의 토착 선교를 통한 선교 확장을 제안한다. 또한 글로벌 선교 플랫폼 구축과 함께 기존 선교지로 복귀할 수 없는 선교사들 을 국내 이주민 공동체 선교사로 재배치하는 전략을 제시한다. 이를 통해 선교사들이 '리버스 미션'과 '리버스 센딩'의 적극적 참여자로 자리매김하도 록 한다. 본 연구는 과거의 손실에 머무르지 않고 하나님께서 열어 가시는 새로운 시대에 맞는 선교 실천의 필요성을 강조한다. 궁극적으로 지리적 한계를 초월하는 지속 가능한 선교 전략을 통해 팬데믹 시대의 새로운 선교 패러다임을 제시하고자 한다.
