This study was conducted to examine the levels of empathy ability, psychosocial maturity, and gender sensitivity among university students majoring in human services, and to identify factors influencing gender sensitivity. A total of 155 students enrolled in the Departments of Nursing and Early Childhood Education at a university located in Gyeonggi Province between May 19 and May 30, 2025. The results showed that the average scores of empathy ability, psychosocial maturity, and gender sensitivity were 3.90, 3.72, and 4.14, respectively. Empathy ability was positively correlated with both psychosocial maturity and gender sensitivity. Empathy ability was also identified as a significant factor influencing gender sensitivity (β=.28, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 7.2%. Accordingly, the implementation of programs aimed at enhancing gender sensitivity among human services majors is recommended.

본 논문은 휴먼서비스 전공 대학생의 공감능력, 심리사회적 성숙도, 성인지 감수성 정도와 성인지 감수성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 실시되었다. 연구를 위해 경기도 소재 일개 대학의 간호학과와 유아교육과에 재학 중인 155명을 대상으로 2025년 5월 19일부터 5월 30일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 휴먼서비스 전공 대학생의 공감능력은 3.90점, 심리사회적 성숙도는 3.72점, 성인지 감수성은 4.14점으로, 공감능력은 심리사회적 성숙도, 성인지 감수성과 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 성인지 감수성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 공감능력(β=.28, p<.001)으로 전체 설 명력은 7.2%였다. 이에 휴먼서비스 전공 대학생의 성인지 감수성을 높이기 위한 교육프로그램의 중요성을 제언한다.
