This study explores the potential application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in art education, with a particular focus on their utilization in museum-based educational programs. Traditional approaches to art education have often been limited by a one-directional, instructor-centered framework, which restricts learners’ creativity and autonomy. In response, this research investigates strategies for enhancing accessibility and fostering creative, participatory learning environments through the integration of AI and digital tools. AI offers personalized learning experiences tailored to individual learners’ needs and abilities, while digital technologies expand the scope of artistic creation and appreciation by introducing new educational methodologies. By analyzing domestic and international case studies of museum education programs, this study examines how AI can functionally contribute to the analysis of artworks, guidance in creation, and art appreciation instruction. Furthermore, it explores how digitally enhanced learning environments can stimulate students’ creative thinking and develop their capacity for diverse aesthetic expression. The findings indicate that AI and digital technologies can serve as meaningful catalysts for improving the quality of art education. These technologies provide valuable insights for reimagining future-oriented educational models and signify a potential paradigm shift in the field of art education.

본 연구는 인공지능(AI)과 디지털 기술이 미술 교육에 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 다각적으로 고찰하고, 특히 미 술관 교육 현장에서의 활용 방안을 중심으로 논의하는 데 목적을 둔다. 기존의 전통적 미술 교육 방식은 교수자 중심 의 일방향적 전달 구조로 인해 학습자의 창의성과 자율성을 충분히 반영하기 어려운 한계를 지니고 있다. 이에 본 연 구는 AI 및 디지털 기술의 융합을 통해 교육 접근성을 제고하고, 창의적·참여적 학습 환경을 구축할 수 있는 전략을 탐색한다. AI는 학습자의 성향과 수준에 기반한 개인 맞춤형 학습을 가능하게 하며, 디지털 기술은 미술 창작 및 감 상 활동의 확장을 통해 새로운 교육적 접근 방식을 제시할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 미술관 교육 프로그램 사 례를 분석하여, AI가 미술 작품의 분석, 창작 지도, 감상 교육에 어떻게 기능적으로 활용될 수 있는지를 살펴보았다. 또한, 디지털 기반 교육 환경이 학습자의 창의적 사고와 미적 표현 역량 증진에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 연구 결 과, AI와 디지털 기술은 미술 교육의 질적 향상을 도모할 수 있는 유의미한 매개로 작용할 수 있으며, 이는 향후 미 술 교육의 패러다임 전환과 미래지향적 교육 모델 구축에 있어 중요한 시사점을 제공한다.
