The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing nursing students’ intention to report elder abuse, focusing on their perception of elder abuse and sensitivity to human rights. Data were collected from 122 nursing students at four universities in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region from January 10 to January 24, 2025. The collected data were analyzed using the chi-square test, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression in SPSS 22.0. The average scores were 33.22±5.92(out of 47 points) for elder abuse perception, 47.95±20.57(out of 90 points) for human rights sensitivity, and 6.94±2.76(out of 12 points) for the intention to report elder abuse. Factors influencing the intention to report elder abuse included elder abuse perception, human rights sensitivity, and prior education on elder abuse, which together explained 39.7% of the variance. Based on these findings, a practical nursing education program is needed to enhance nursing students’ intention to report elder abuse.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 노인학대인식과 인권감수성이 노인학대 신고의향에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 시 도되었다. 연구대상자는 대구·경북 지역에 소재하고 있는 4개 대학 간호대학생 122명을 대상으로 자료수집기간은 2025년 1월 10일부터 1월 24일까지였다. 자료는 SPSS 22.0 통계프로그램의 빈도분석, 평균과 표준편차, t-test와 one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coeffisient, stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 본 연구대상자 의 노인학대인식 점수는 47점 만점에 33.22±5.92점, 인권감수성 점수는 90점 만점에 47.95±20.57점, 노인학대 신고의 향 점수는 12점 만점에 6.94±2.76점이었다. 노인학대 신고의향에 영향을 미치는 요인은 노인학대인식, 인권감수성, 노 인학대교육 경험이 노인학대 신고의향을 39.7% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 노 인학대 신고의향을 강화하기 위한 실질적인 교육과정 마련이 필요하다.
