This study explores the expansion of AI Digital Textbook (AIDT) functions to effectively support in- quiry-based learning for elementary school students. Based on the existing AIDT features, such as resource recommendation, learning diagnostics, and personalized feedback, this research proposes additional functions to enhance support in the inquiry process. These include in􀂘uiry 􀂘uestion generation support, response categorization, resource restructuring, automatic group formation, and real-time assessment and feedback. The proposed functions aim to promote logical thinking during inquiry, support collaborative learning, and reduce the instructional burden on teachers. This study analyzes key challenges in inquiry-based learning and presents a conceptual design for expanding AIDT functions to address these challenges.

본 연구는 초등학생의 탐구학습을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 AI 디지털 교과서(AIDT)의 기능 확장 방안을 연 구한다. 기존 AIDT가 제공하는 자료 추천, 학습 진단, 맞춤형 피드백 기능을 기반으로, 탐구학습 과정에서의 지 원을 강화하기 위해 탐구질문 생성 지원, 응답 유목화, 자료 재구성, 자동 모둠 구성, 실시간 평가 및 피드백등 의 확장 기능을 설계하였다. 제안된 기능은 탐구과정에서의 논리적 사고 촉진, 협력적 학습 지원, 교사의 탐구학 습 운영 부담 완화를 목표로 한다. 본 연구는 탐구학습의 주요 과제를 분석하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 AIDT 기능 확장의 개념적 설계를 제시한다.
